We had a great stay! The cabin was super clean, the beds were really comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the washer/dryer was an excellent touch (especially with kids). We can’t wait to stay here again!
This is a beautiful cabin set in the trees in Arnold. We enjoyed the open plan and modern features. Cooking for Thanksgiving was a dream in the awesome kitchen. The fireplace was amazing in the cooler weather. The proximity to all the fun activities in the region was also a plus.
We just returned from a fantastic stay at this charming cabin in Arnold, and I have to say—it was the relaxing mountain escape we didn’t know we needed. The location is spot-on: tucked away in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by towering pines, but still close enough to grab essentials, hit the lake, or explore the amazing hiking trails nearby. The cabin itself was warm, welcoming, and super comfortable for our family. The layout was great, the beds were comfy, and the whole vibe screamed “put your phone down and just chill.”Now, a small note about communication: the property owner was on vacation herself (a little too on-brand), so replies were a tad delayed at times. But hey, who can blame her for enjoying a break from screens just like the rest of us? When she did respond, she was kind, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. Just maybe send any urgent questions a few days early—mountain time moves a little slower. All in all, this place gets a solid five stars from us. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with cozy charm and a few laughs along the way, this cabin should be on your shortlist. Bring your hiking shoes, a good book, and your friends/family along for some great memories!
We had a great time at this cabin. The space was comfortable and it was fairly easy to get to. There was one road that was a bit narrow but nothing too scary. We spent one day tubing at Bear Valley Adventure Co and one day in Murphy’s exploring shops and restaurants, both about a half hour away. In the evenings we played games and cooked at the cabin. The only issue we had was that we thought the home was a true three bedroom and the third bedroom was just a loft with two twin beds. We had two young children with us so we couldn’t put them to bed and then hang out in the living room without them hearing us downstairs. So they slept in the queen bedroom with a door and two adults slept in the twin beds. There also isn’t heat upstairs so be prepared to use the space heater or cozy up in blankets. Overall nothing we couldn’t figure out and we still had a fabulous time!
