The house is very nice and spacious. Beds are comfortable and plenty of towels, sheets, blankets. That's were it ends! The cooking pans were dirty and had baked on food. There were no instructions posted on the wall about how to use the A/C both downstairs and upstairs. There is a big rip in the carpet in the master BR upstairs which is a trip hazard. Several chairs in the kitchen are ripped on the seats and one of the chair backs fell off while sitting on it normally. The screw was obviously stripped as it would not screw back in. Then, the owner tried to charge me $196 for the broken chair!! The BBQ grill leaks propane so as to make it hazardous to use. The owner lied to me on the phone by saying he "just found out that day". But initailly, he claimed the previous tenant broke it, so he KNEW ABOUT it already and didn't bother to let me know. We struggled to get it to work not knowing it was broken. There are spider webs in the bathrooms. Owner was difficult to communicate with as he answered with very short and non-friendly answers. I wonder if he's tried to charge other people for broken things he's too cheap to replace or repair?

Tom,
You seem the type of person to bring a Starbucks barista to tears because they gave you the wrong color straw.
Your abusive communication made it very difficult to have a reasonable discussion and at the same time you broke property and will not take responsibility regarding the damages.
Normally guests are happy at our cabin and I apologize that the previous guest broke the BBQ grill. BTW it is now repaired.
Future hosts beware Tom is very abusive and difficult to work with. Tom is actually threatening legal action because I have asked him to pay to replace a piece of furniture he himself has destroyed.
