Great location close to the beach

Really enjoyed my stay here. Stayed for a week with my two dogs. Very convenient location close to downtown, the beach, and Payne park. Fully fenced large backyard for my dogs to enjoy. Home was clean with everything I needed. Hosts were very friendly and responsive.

We were here for 8 weeks. The location was good. Payne park just around the corner and the legacy trail for walking. Close to downtown. Very cozy and comfy. The kitchen is small but has all the amenities you need! Great stay

Caution - Inaccurate past reviews

Honest reviews help guests. Mine is not the "good" or "excellent" we saw before booking. This place is in a good location - close to Payne park and walkable to downtown, but the street itself and the house/lot not worth the price comparable to many other fine places we've stayed near DT. Challenges: The front screen door spring and frame were broken as we arrived - hard to carry things in/out. Back door is stuck - have to body slam it to get out. Seems clean, but pet hair found on floors, couch and blanket. Not sure using professional cleaners - your welcome basket, would be a nice touch, but included snacks that were 2 months expired. This is a duplex, with a SHARED backyard, grill, furniture. Pictures show hammock, seating, table all on one side, but not accurate. Didn't expect the neighbor's dog to run at me while trying to enjoy morning coffee. The biggest challenge that makes this property very concerning: YOU CANNOT FLUSH TOILET PAPER IN THE TOILET! You're expected to put in trash. Does this even qualify as "indoor plumbing"? Past reviews and marketing of this rental are very misleading.

I'm sorry you feel this way and had a bad experience. Most of my guests have had an awesome time and remark how spotless the place is. We use professional cleaners, we are going to talk to them. In the description says the backyard is shared (Although we have scheduled to put a fence up to divide the backyard for extra privacy). You can flush toilet paper ONLY in the toilet. I wish you have reached out to me with all this concerns during your stay. I only got one text about the front screen door which as soon as you let me know, I booked a handyman to go as soon as possible. We could have work something out to make your stay more pleasant. Our reviews are excellent because we try to accommodate everyone's needs the best we can. As you can understand, we are all different and have different needs. We go above and beyond for our guests. I believe that's what it distinguish us from the rest. Thanks for your feedback and I really hope next time you find something that it meets all your needs and if not, I strongly advise you to let the host know beforehand. I'm sure, any host would do their best to help you have a pleasant stay.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is very quiet, peaceful and safe. Immerse in a tranquil cult de sac street. I love that is near everything. One block away from Publix and short walking distance to Payne Park and to nice downtown spots. Short drive (car or bike) to Main St./Downtown and Beaches.
It is very convenient if you love to stay near the beach but prefer to rest and end your day in a peaceful place away from crowded tourist places.

What makes this property unique

I love feedback and consider all of my guest ideas. My place is cozy and fully equipped. I have added everything I would need if I would be the one booking the place and added most guest suggestions to make my place more comfortable in every stay. It’s warm and thoughtfully designed, very practical and efficient. Conveniently located and private.
