Leslie's Retreat: Spacious home ideally located to everything

Gorgeous 5 bedroom (4 on the second floor and 1 basement suit) home located in a historically significant area of Salem North River. Short walking to all the excitement Salem has to offer with trolley and tours, Museums, Galleries, Fine Dining, Beaches and the Salem Water Ferry into Boston. The home is fully furnished with a combination new luxurious and antique pieces. The kitchen is a gourmet chef's dream. Featuring a gas cook top with grill and griddle attachments, electric double ovens and 2 sinks for easy preparation of meals. Fabulous flow on the first floor between the dining room, living room and kitchen making it ideal to entertain. Many satisfied international families and others from across the country have made this home a destination for family celebrations and holidays.

On the second floor there are 4 bedrooms, two bedrooms with queen beds, one bedroom with a king bed, and the forth has a twin bunkbed (crib available if needed). All are outfitted with comfortable clean and crisp linens and air conditioner units and in the cooler weather you can cuddle up to down filled duvet comforters and get a good nights rest. Cable television and ROKU and wireless access through out the home and streaming. After enjoying the vibrant town of Salem you can come back kick back on the front porch or walk to the nearby train station and in 30 minutes arrive in downtown Boston for more adventures.

Basement includes a queen bed, pull out couch, laundry room, and full bathroom.

Please note that this home is a non-smoking premise.

NO LARGE LOUD CRAZY PARTIES, THIS IS A QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD.

The house was great could use a little more cooking supplies but other than that it was good. Great location roomy showers were great pressure.

The house was absolutely beautiful and so clean! My family has traveled from pennsylvania to come stay here for 4 days! Salem itself was so beautiful. The house was walking distance to essex street, maybe a 15 minute walk! Lots of restaurants up the road too from the house which made it easy for us when we didn’t feel like hiking back up to essex. Would definitely stay here again, and will be recommending it to friends who plan to visit!

Fantastic location for our stay- easy to walk to downtown Salem and a quick drive to Beverly (where our daughter’s wedding was). Great space to hang out with everyone, four good-sized bedrooms upstairs, and a basement “suite” that was very convenient. Would definitely recommend!

Very easy to get to with good parking for two cars, the house was very nice and stocked with a lot of every day things like coffee and spices. The short walk to Salem was great, I didn’t drive my car all week.

Absolutely perfect for our trip! We did have a little fun wake up call one morning with some guys working on the roof, but it was all communicated! seriously, it was such a fantastic place, and we all agreed if we do another Salem trip, we'll be back here!

Meg was super accommodating right from the start. Before we even booked the property she answered all of our questions quickly and informatively. The location was convenient. We were able to walk downtown to the Salem Witches Museum and other sites. The house has a ton of room. The cupboards were surprisingly well stocked. Parking was also a breeze.

We (7 adults and 2 children) had a great stay at Leslie’s Retreat! The host allowed us to check in a couple of hours early, which was clutch as we were coming on a red eye flight. Megan, the host was very communicative and took care of any request quickly. We found this property to be very cozy. The children in our party loved the Halloween decor! It was very well equipped!Its proximity to all the popular Salem tourist spots is key! It is also close to the train station for easy access to Boston, Rockport, and Newburyport! We definitely plan on staying there again!

This was the first time we went on vacation that was not the beach. We were pleasantly surprised with this property. The host was very quick to respond to questions. We are Halloween people and it was cool to see the home decorated as such. parking was easy and great for the two cars we had. The house was close to Salem attractions - walking distance, LOL, for the young at heart. The younger ones of us chose to walk to town but us old folks drove. We loved that our host (Megan) had a binder with lots of helpful tips- grocery shopping, beaches, etc. and a binder with menus for various eateries! I loved the amenities that were provided. All in all, it was a great vacation and would rent again.

We booked for a Bachelorette party and had such an incredible time! The house was perfect for a large group. Had plenty of space for everyone and was so close to town. We walked to everything with ease. The house was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and all instructions were clear. Meg even went above and beyond for us, knowing we booked for a witch themed bachelorette party, and pre-decorated the house. Everything was perfect and we appreciated the extra effort. I would recommend booking the house for anyone visiting salem, especially with a large group.
