We had a great time at the Griffin’s Hideaway! We came up to go snowmobiling, and it was way too cold. We did venture out for a ride and the trails are so close. There were games to play in the house so we stayed in, took advantage of the complementary coffee bar and hot cocoa and played games. Our hosts were great and we had an amazing time!
Everything was very clean with great modern updates. Newberry was a nice area to stay for day trips to Munising, whitefish point and the falls. The host was very accommodating and great communication. We had a great trip!
Our family truly enjoyed our stay. The house had a cozy cabin feel and was close to town! Newberry was the perfect location for our vacation itinerary in the UP. Would definitely recommend!

Property was everything we needed. Very comfortable
My husband and I recently enjoyed a week-long snowmobile trip. The house is in an excellent location, just a block from the trails, and having a garage to park our snowmobiles was a significant bonus. The owners were very responsive and a pleasure to work with. The house was spotless, and the beds were comfortable. We had a great stay and will definitely return!
We have never rented a VRBO in the U.P. before so we didn’t know what to expect. The house was very clean and secure. The hot water was hot. Plenty of linens but needed a fan in the east bedroom for summertime use. Loved the coffee stand on the counter of the kitchen. If you planted some pine trees on the southwest corner of the front yard then it would make it more private and cozy. Thank you for the use of your house.Sincerely, Two rural retired couples not accustomed to neighborhoods, although it was quiet.
