Beachfront 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath townhouse condo in the center of beautiful Longboat Key, an island just a few miles north of Sarasota. LaPlaya Condominiums provides a private beach, sheltered pool with sundeck, and beachfront grills so you won’t miss a minute of the sunset. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen plus washer and dryer. All linens and beach towels are provided. Welcome to our island-style living.

This spacious unit is bright and breezy with new décor and totally renovated kitchen and baths featuring sparkling granite and tile. The open floor plan provides sweeping views of the beach and gulf from the kitchen to the living and dining area, and on to the private porch and steps leading to the beach. All bedrooms are carpeted. The master bedroom on the 2nd level has floor-to-ceiling windows, and sliders to a sundeck overlooking the beach.

Soft shades of aquamarine provide a quiet color scheme for relaxing while enjoying the spectacular views of the beach and Gulf. Listen to the waves, or enjoy exquisite sunsets from the spacious balcony off the third level master bedroom, or from the screened lanai off the living/dining area on the second level.

Excellent stay

The property is in the perfect location. The condo is on the second floor, but the stairs go down directly to the beach. The unit was clean and as advertised on VRBO.

Great property and location. Close to everything. The property is very clean. Easy check in and check out. The only negative was that the check in time is very late and the checkout time is very early. If you’re paying for the night, the check in time should be much earlier than 4pm similar to other shoe term rentals. Otherwise, our family had great time.

A lovely condo, a very short walk from the beach

The condo was exactly as advertised. Clean, fully equipped and in good repair. The location is amazing - walk out the door and you are walking on the beach in two minutes. We will definitely stay there again.

We couldn't have been any happier with our stay! We came for a five day stay, we had the best time! The location was perfect, the condo was spectacular, the whole complex was just what we hoped for! Our best memory was sitting on the balcony every morning and every night! Thank you for the memories! We'll be back!

Would have been a fantastic beach vacation if not for the red tide and dead fish.

Beautiful property. Great quiet location. Would have been nice for the management to let us know that the beach had been and was being hit by the algae bloom ( informed by other vacationers renters) We had to leave due to respiratory problems (burning, coughing, and running noses) and eye problems (massively tearing red eyes). To top it off, dead fish of all sizes rotting all over the beach shoreline. Would have been nice for the warning. I realize they can’t control the algae, but a heads up would have been nice. It wasn’t as if it just happened, it started 5 days prior to our arrival. This area is beautiful and we will return when the red tide isn’t blooming.

Perfect vacation on Longboat Key

The property was exactly as advertised! Comfortable beds, furniture and overall accommodations. Kitchen is well stocked and has 2 coffee makers (traditional and Kcup). Loved the beach towels provided and chaise loungers we could take to the beach…perfect for reading a book on the beach. Beautiful area with private beaches and only a few miles to the restauarants and bars in Holmes Beach/Anna Maria Island.

Absolutely fabulous condo, loved it

Have stayed in a number of condos / hotels and Villas in Longboat Key since 1990 and this is by far the best, it has everything you need for a super vacation. The owner even provided us with a Little Tikes picnic table and bench for our grandaughter, she loved it so much we bought one on return to Ireland. We found Kelly in reservations very helpful from booking - to check in / out. The condo as spotless, the complex is very well maintained and clean. the location is perfect for a beach vacation close to many excellent restaurants. We loved the condo so much we have already recommended it to relations and friends who vacation in Longboat key. We were a party of 6 four adults and two young children, the condo was spacious and worked very well for us. There are plenty of sun loungers available. We can't wait to return , Thank you for renting your beautiful condo to us.

A gem of a get-away

La Playa Condos on Longboat Key has to be one of the best kept vacation secrets . A quite little complex right on the Gulf with only 20 units, it has an on-site manager to keep everything ship shape, which it definitely is. Heated pool, sand beach, and a gorgeous view - just the best of everything. Another valuable amenity is all the good restaurants to choose from without even leaving Longboat. And a Publix. And a CVS. Everything you need.

Very Special Place

Great place! Our condo was beautiful! We loved walking out directly to the beach! We met some great people there as well, kids had amazing time. The condo has upscale finishes and furniture, TVs in every room, kitchen is equipped with everything you may need for even large dinner! We will be back!

LaPlaya - Old Florida Charm with modern touch

When you drive by you may not stop at LaPlaya because it looks like an old fashion hotel but the looks are very deceiving! The units are very spacious, we stayed in 3 bedrooms condo, over 1700 SqFt with stunning views of the beach! Kitchen looks brand new and beautiful, large TVs which made my kids very happy, condo was very clean and fresh upon our arrival. The reservation process was easy, the staff is very helpful and accommodating, we didn't have any issues during our stay.

Paradise

LaPlaya is a small complex directly on the beach! When we made the reservation we didn't believe that the beach is only 10 steps away... it truly is just few steps to the sand! The unit is excellent, fully equipped, good size - 1700 SqFt, the view is amazing. Longboat is a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty.
