Come be our guest at The Family Cabin on 20 acres of private land with amazing views of distant hills, valleys, and forests. Plenty of outdoor space to explore, dine on the expansive deck, enjoy the firepit, or cozy up inside the cabin with comfortable couches, and wood-burning stove. Fall asleep in comfortable King or Queen size beds,listening to sounds of nature. 1st floor has a bedroom with king size sleep number bed and mounted TV with Roku. 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are upstairs. These are loft bedrooms. One side has 2 queen beds and a patio door with a small balcony. There is also a small secret area for kids to explore. 3rd sleeping area has 2 king beds.All beds have great mattresses. Kitchen is fully equipped with lots of pots, dishes,spices…the Cabin is located to enjoy some of Wisconsin's nearby top attractions (Wisconsin Dells, Sparta Elroy Bike Trail, Woodside Sports complex and much more!

Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Wash,dry and put away all dishes
Leave used beds unmade, placed used towels on hooks in bathroom. Vacuum or sweep all common areas. Turn heat to 65 if on or turn air conditioner to 75.
Pick up all trash outside. Place indoor trash in garage and cans in recycling containers outside.Replace all outdoor furniture to original spots.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Smoking is allowed outside. Please take care of cleaning up all butts outside .
Notify host if bringing any motorized recreational vehicles.

Most awesome cabin! Centrally located yet as remote as can be with Elroy, Wisconsin Dells, Baraboo and more within short drive to multiple fun activities. We really enjoyed our stay at the Family Cabin! It was such a peaceful setting and the indoor setup worked perfectly for our family of 7. You can tell they put a lot of thought into all the little details to make your stay go smoothly as well as enjoyable. We appreciated having a full kitchen since we cook meals ourselves rather than going out to eat. The beds were super comfortable and the seating was plentiful both in the living room as well as at the kitchen table. We enjoyed exploring the Elroy Sparta Trail Tunnel and just hanging out at the cabin playing games, talking, making meals, reading, relaxing, & watching a couple movies.

Great Fall colors!

Beautiful country property with great views! We got lucky with the perfect weekend for tree colors, warm and dry weather for being outside and riding our bikes on the Elroy-Sparta Trail nearby the property. The house had great games to play and a nice selection of videos as well. The kitchen and bedrooms were well equipped for all you need for family dinners. We hope to be back again! The house

Beautiful property and cabin! Sandy was a wonderful host and was very helpful in answering all of our questions. The cabin was clean, spacious, and well equipped with everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. We were lucky to have great weather and loved sitting by the firepit looking at the stars. We also enjoyed playing the games provided in the cabin and ringing the bell outside! Sandy shared the history of the bell with us, so be sure to ask about it. The only downside was that our stay was too short. Thank you, Sandy!

The Family Cabin was passed down from our parents. We have decided to share it with other families to enjoy as much as we do and help with up keep costs. New roof and air conditioner, all new ceiling fans and light kits added this year. We just added 3 new mattresses this fall. The downstairs bedroom has a king size sleep number bed.So come enjoy “ our little piece of heaven” in the hills of Juneau county! We have offered it at a reasonable price so families can come and enjoy! We don’t think you will be disappointed with your choice! If it’s beautiful views and sounds of nature your looking for this is the place. Lots of land to roam and explore. Have the family create a fairy garden with items gathered from the property. We have some started there already! You will probably see alot of wildlife that roams the property from the large deck!
