This is a 3 Bedroom, 2 Full Bath, Pet-Friendly and Wheel Chair Accessible home located next to the Lemonweir River in Mauston, WI. Mauston is 20 minutes North of the WI Dells and a great center location for all the great hiking, fishing, kayaking, WI River tubing, bar hopping, gambling and ATV routes in this beautiful area of Wisconsin. Sand Valley Golf is 45 minutes from this location. Red Ridge Ranch Riding Stables and Woodside Sports Complex is also in Mauston minutes away. This home will sleep 10 comfortably and could sleep up to 12 guests with the 2 twin blow up mattresses available for use. There is also an Air Hockey table for use.

There is a small deck in the front of the home with a wheel chair accessible ramp and a larger deck in the back with a 4 person hot tub. A propane grill is also provided for use. There is a fire pit in the backyard and plenty of firewood to burn. Firewood is provided. If you have a dog, please inform us before hand. There is a $75 fee included with expected clean up after your pet. There is a fine if you do not inform us of your pet!

Basically this home has everything you need. This offers a quiet secluded location still close to everything you need. Soak in the hot tub, enjoy your favorite drink and check out the stars!🌌🌠

This property is located on a wooded street running along a creek and appears tucked away and peaceful. There is a railroad not too far away, so sometimes you can hear trains. Spacious backyard with lots of mature trees, robins hopping everywhere. Nice hot tub! Beds are very comfortable, especially in the room with two beds. Floor plan is long, so quiet in bedrooms.

Good, but lacking in a few areas

Great location - cozy and clean house. Loved the hot tub and air hockey table; the beds were super comfy; loved walking to the dam daily. Disappointed that there wasn’t a broom and dust pan for use, zero propane in the tank when we went to grill our steaks and burgers, no hangers for use in the closets, and access to the washer and dryer (especially for those staying several nights) would have been fantastic.

The place was overall pretty good. The WiFi was not working due to a storms prior to our stay. Similar to a previous review mentioned, the check-in instructions were missing, and the fridge was warm despite the temp setting at its lowest. One other odd thing was for a house that sleeps 10, there’s only seating for about 4 in the main living area. Hot tub was nice, bathrooms were nice, beds comfortable. Typical list of chores to do at the end.

Great Getaway near Lakes and Golf

Nicole's home is at a great location next to a riverwalk and easy to get to stores. She has everything you'll need and it's all clearly marked. Water sports and hiking were close by at Lake Delton near Wisconsin Dells and Castle Rock Lake right in town. Her deck and backyard are a great place to hang out too.

Weekend get away to Castle Rock Lake

We took a fairly impromptu trip to Castle Rock Lake for the holiday weekend. Location was great! It was just a 10-15 minute drive to launch our boat. We planned for 9 adults and one child but ended with only 6 adults and one child. The space worked very well for us. We were able to take our small dog along and that was a huge plus for us!!

Beautiful stay!

This house was just perfect. Three bedrooms and more than enough beds. Air conditioning so strong and comfortable. Three tvs and nice sofa/ chairs.The deck and hot tub were so nice to access from the sliding doors.Nice kitchen and huge fridge with cookware and utensils.The dining room was part of the family room so more than enough seating for big gatherings.The yard was big with wood and a fire pit. We loved that there is little to no traffic as it is on a dead end street. Perfect to walk your dogs on.There is a river across the way with a canoe launch if you like.There is also a foosball table. Everything was so immaculately clean with newer appliances.We enjoyed river rafting, horseback riding and a state park all within the area and even an old Victorian house museum. The owners were very informative and accommodating. A great place to stay.If you go in the summer bring bug spray, this was a bad year for mosquitos.

Overall nice but a few issues

We did not receive any check in instructions and had to contact the property manager upon arriving to the property. Luckily, they responded promptly, however it would have been nice to receive the code/instructions ahead of time.The property was clean but lacked some basic essentials such as: broom, mop, sponge, etc. We were only provided 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 people for 4 nights. The fridge was not cooling anything down and we ended up having to throw away some of our planned dinners due to this issue. The food actually spoiled in the warm fridge. The fridge temperature could not be adjusted to correct this issue. Freezer worked fine.The starter on the grill didn't work and needed a new battery, which we provided. There was also a step down in many of the bedrooms and bathrooms, which was a tripping hazard. The shower head in the one bathroom was too high, and we were unable to adjust it since it was a hand-held, magnetized showerhead, so you had to hold it in order to shower.There was an abundance of fire wood that was provided which was an added plus. The hot tub was nice but it looked it needed water added to it. The AC worked well as it was very warm this past weekend. Very nice backyard area and saw deer and an abundance of birds. Nice, quiet property, but would have been nice to have access to the river across the streeet as many neighbors do.

this was a good place for our 3 day stay in the Dells area. It had a coffee bean grinder whish was a plus since we were able to bring our coffee beans and grind each morning.

I was looking for property to get away from the city life and have a fun and comfortable place to fish, kayak, boat, build fires, hike, ride ATV's and explore.

Why they chose this property

I truly enjoy this property and have put a lot of work into bringing it back to life and keeping it in good shape. Our goal is to keep this property within our family passing it down from generation to generation. Overall, we want to give you the experience here that we love! A Quiet and Secluded time with family and friends right in the perfect location in WI where you can find hiking, exploring, fishing, kayaking, river tubing and so much more!! What makes this property unique

The Wisconsin Dells is only 20 minutes away which is full of all kinds of adventure for every family. There is kayaking available on the Lemonweir River and WI River and plenty of other rivers and lakes within the area to do tubing, kayaking, fishing, water sports and exploring. There are numerous historical sites to visit as well parks and trails and plenty of hiking.
