Such a great spot with real attention to detail of the guest experience. Perfect base camp for activities and a great place to hang out. We liked taking the mountain bike trails from the house to whiteface to see the World Cup.

This property is beautiful and secluded. The house is clean and nicely updated. Location is great for getting to Lake Placid, Whiteface and other areas of interest. We had a great time!
One of the nicest holiday homes we have ever stayed in as a family. Beautifully renovated, spacious and well equipped in a great location for hiking holiday in Adirondacks. Great outdoor spaces and easy access to river at Wilmington beach for swimming.
We absolutely loved our stay. We skied at Whiteface for a couple days and this was the perfect place to stay. Three guests, me (44), my dad (77), and my daughter (11). Lots of space for us. Nicely appointed and very clean. We would definitely stay again!
We had an wonderful stay at Riverwalk Lodge! The cabin is beautifully renovated, very clean and well appointed. The owners though of everything to make your stay welcoming and comfortable. The location was perfect for us as we like to be close to Lake Placid, but away from the crowds. The cabin is in the woods, off the main highway, secluded and quiet. We enjoyed spending the mornings hiking nearby trails, returning to spend the afternoons canoeing and kayaking on the river. The outdoor firepit was a wonderful way to end the day. We will be back!
This was a beautiful wood cabin nestled in the woods just a few miles from Whiteface ski resort. It had every modern convenience and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lori was very helpful and quickly responded to any inquires we made. If you're planning a winter stay I would recommend a 4-wheel drive car. The house is on a narrow gravel road.
The location was perfect! Close to Lake Placid but also secluded. We loved the two fire pits, especially by the water which was great for launching our kayaks as well. The house is beautifully decorated and we love the porches. When we arrived the the house was clean and welcoming! Lori was an excellent host and responded to messages almost immediately! For us, all that was missing was AC and a dishwasher but even so that would not stop us from renting again. Thank you, Lori!
We loved our stay at the Riverwalk Lodge! The welcome package/snacks were greatly appreciated by us and our kids! Short walk to the river led to memorable paddleboarding and swimming. Complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate were welcome treats, along with a well-stocked kitchen for any meals you may concoct. Sleep accommodations were comfortable, and fans adequately took care of summer weather. Screened in porch was perfect for relaxing in a cool summer morning with coffee. Thank you for a wonderful, and highly memorable stay in your lodge!
