About this property
Lake Everest beach & trout, 3 min to Whiteface
“4‑season ADK townhouse in the Owaissa Club, the only ski & beach community in the Adirondacks. Steps to Lake Everest on the West Branch of the Ausable, a renowned cold‑water trout fishery, w/sandy beach, swimming, playground, volleyball, BBQs & boat rentals. Spring is ideal for fly fishing and quiet escapes, early summer for hiking, mtn. biking & paddling, access to Whiteface Veterans’ Memorial Hwy & Keene farmers market. In winter you’re just 3 minutes from Whiteface, dining & shops nearby. The main entry level of our home has two bedrooms. The front bedroom features a bunk bed plus a single trundle, great for kids or friends, while the primary bedroom has a comfortable king bed with plenty of storage. On the lower level you’ll find a second living area with seating, a smart TV, and the third bedroom with another king bed, giving groups room to spread out. The upper level offers a full kitchen, living room, breakfast nook, dining table, and bar‑top seating, creating a bright open space for family time, game nights, and sharing meals. Step out onto the balcony to enjoy the mountain air and views. Central air conditioning keeps the home comfortable on those rare hot summer nights. Altogether, the layout works beautifully for two families or a group of friends, with separate hangout spaces and beds for up to 9 guests.
Outside the door, you’re perfectly positioned to enjoy the best of the Whiteface region. Our home sits beside the West Branch of the Ausable River, offering outstanding brook, brown, and rainbow trout fishing and easy access to Lake Everest’s sandy beach, swimming area, floating dock, playground, volleyball courts, BBQs, and boat rentals. From the front door, you can hop on local mountain‑bike trails, stroll to Thursday‑night concerts at Lake Everest in season, or head a few minutes up the road to hike at the Flume or cliff jump at “the Notch.” Lake Placid is only about 15 minutes away, with its Olympic sites, restaurants, shops, and events, and the trailheads for aspiring 46ers are within an easy drive. Whether you’re here to ski Whiteface in winter, chase trout in spring, hike and bike through summer, or tick off foliage hikes in fall, this townhouse makes an ideal four‑season basecamp.
Even a free shuttle to a Whiteface in the ski season. • Spring on the West Branch: Our home is an ideal base for fly anglers and anyone who wants to be close to the water in shoulder season, with easy access to brook, brown, and rainbow trout fishing.
• Lake Everest access: You’re just steps from the beach and launch at Lake Everest for paddling, swimming, evening walks, and free Thursday‑night summer concerts.
• Gear‑friendly: There is space to store fishing gear, waders, and bikes, and a convenient spot to unload after a day on the river, trails, or slopes.
• Work‑from‑mountains: Reliable Wi‑Fi and multiple seating areas make it easy to mix remote work with time outdoors in quieter months like April and May.
• Adventure hub: Quick access to mountain‑bike trails from the front door, nearby hikes at the Flume, cliff jumping at the Notch, the Whiteface Veterans’ Memorial Highway, and Lake Placid’s dining, shopping, and Olympic attractions about 15 minutes away.
