About this property

Lakefront Luxe | Dock, Kayaks & Modern Design

Standing tall on the shores of Owasco Lake, the Lake House combines all the amenities families could want: premium four-season waterfront access, 60 feet of private, level lakefront, air conditioning, large kitchen and dining room, panoramic windows and doors, family-friendly activities and amenities, close proximity to town, and short distance to Finger Lakes golf courses, wineries, breweries, and hiking trails.

Downstairs you will find a full bathroom and a bedroom with a Queen sized bed and tv. The main floor living room and dining room boast panoramic windows and doors with full lake views. Upstairs you will find another Queen bedroom and two King bedrooms - all with electric fireplaces and tvs. The lakeside Master King also has large windows to catch the morning sunrise.

We also have another cottage that is two doors down, The Cottage at Popular Cove. That property sleeps 8 should you wish to look into reserving both of them.

This is a fairly quiet neighborhood, almost everyone is a year-round resident. This is the perfect spot to relax on your own piece of Owasco Lake.

The city of Auburn is about 3 miles away and contains grocery stores, restaurants, bars, family fun, parks, and shopping centers.

This area of the state is famous for the Finger Lakes, where you can find more trails, waterfalls, wineries, and breweries than you could ever fit in!

The house was very suitable for eight of us, all adults. Very roomy and open living room/dining room space. The house was very clean and cozy and the beds were very comfortable. There was ample kitchen space, and the views of the lake are very nice. There was also house slippers available to wear in the house which was a nice touch. We all had a very enjoyable experience and I would recommend this residence to others. Lauren did a great job communicating with any needs we had, so thank you Lauren!

Wonderful house for a family weekend

This is a great house right on the lake. The hosts have thought of everything and I was especially impressed to find ample towels, pillows, and extra blankets in the house. We really enjoyed mornings looking out on the lake view!

We rented Jeff and Lauren’s house for our daughter’s wedding weekend. The home looked just as pictured!! Absolutely beautiful, very clean, and very nicely decorated. Needed early check in and they accommodated us as best they could! Would definitely book again!!

We found Lake Owasco and the Lakefront Luxe house to be a hidden gem! The home is just as shown in the photos - Very updated and clean with enough space for our extended family of 8. Having the lake steps from your door was a highlight. We brought our boat and docked at the house for the week so there was plenty of opportunity for waterskiing, tubing, and exploring.The lake was as calm as anything we have experienced and there was a great sandy section by Emerson Park where several boats hung out and our kids went swimming.Lauren and Jeff were excellent hosts and it was easy to reach them for anything we needed.Highly recommended!

Absolute Perfection

Perfect, perfect, perfect. The house was exactly as advertised. But it also had soooo many personal touches that made it extra special. Things like labels over every switch so you knew what light you were turning on and paper flower on toilet paper rolls. Communication was super fast, friendly and efficient. After staying at many many vacation rentals, I've found my favorite!

So Cozy & Amazing!

We spend every summer on Lake Owasco and have rented many different homes over the years -- this is one of our all-time favorites! Very stylish, cozy and such a great layout!! Lauren and Jeff have thought of all the details to make this place super comfy and cozy. The kitchen appliances are awesome and well stocked -- we enjoyed cooking and grilling several meals. There was an abundance of fresh towels (bath and beach) and the beds were really comfy. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and we had a pretty competitive outdoor Connect Four tournament going on throughout the week. The dock is in great shape -- and we ended every night enjoying the fire pit. Lauren was great and made sure we had everything we needed! We can't wait to visit here again!!

Amazing home to disconnect at, and truly focus on R&R. The winter can be tough and this change of scenery with amazing restaurants a short drive away was a great experience that will be welcomed by anyone spending any time at all here. This property has been fully remodeled, with panoramic windows and double sliding doors in both the dining room and living room. You are perfectly situated to kayak, canoe, or boat over to the sandbar. This isn't your house that someone turned into a short term rental - this was designed with Guests and Families in mind. We have no doubt that you and your guests will love every minute spent at the Holiday on Owasco.

What makes this property unique

You have access to the entire house and property during your stay.

We want to provide our guests with the Lakeside vacation experience and hospitality that is second to none. Our design choices were made with family gatherings and the guest experience in mind. Guests get the cozy cottage experience with all the perks of modern amenities, maximized functionality, and detailed touches. This aesthetic is found through all of our rentals, including the Cottage at Poplar Cove, which is two doors down from the Holiday on Owasco.

This is one of the best spots on the lake. Whether you want to swim, kayak, boat, fish, make your way to the cove, or just relax - you can do it all from here.

We have kayaks, a stand up paddle board, and life jackets available for use, at your own risk (there is no lifeguard).

The home has panoramic windows and double sliding doors facing the water so even if the weather is not cooperating, you can still enjoy the view. Inside, each bedroom is a luggage rack for your convenience and a mounted smart TV, should you wish to login to your favorite streaming service.
