The villa is located along the Northern Coastline of Sicily in the picturesque town of Castellammare Del Golfo. This two story Villa is filled with spacious social indoor and outdoor areas and it is decorated with fine stylish simple furniture. The two units have separate entrances, however, they share an inside marble suitcase that connects the main floor to the first floor and therefore the villa can be rented in its entirety and it represents the ideal residence for guests that wish to come and enjoy the simple and relaxing Sicilian life style or organize special events: Family Reunions, a birthday, an anniversary celebration, a destination wedding. A covered veranda, surrounded by ornamental and aromatic Mediterranean Flora has the perfect setting for outdoor dining while enjoying a stunning breathtaking view of the Golf of Castellammare. There are many factors that make this self catering villa very special. It is within a short walking distance from a few supermakets, from the bus terminal, only 2 blocks from coffee shops, 600 meters from the town beach. A car is always convenient to have, however is not a necessity and especially at night it is very enjoyable to reach a favorite restaurant within a few minutes. This is also a pet friendly location and most important of all is very safe for children that can freely play and enjoy the outdoor space.

Amazing villa with stunning views. Lovely terrace and pool area that you will never want to leave. Comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. Owners are very friendly and brought us treats throughout the holiday. We would love to return. Castellamare Del Golfo is a beautiful area. 10 minutes walk to centre and 20 mins walk to beach.

Family Vacation at Dream Villa mid March

We had a great time playing games, cooking meals, walking around town, and took some car trips. Host Paulo and Giorgio were great. Fresh lemonaid every day.

Great location, close to town

The property was perfect for our group. The pool was a very nice touch , especially during the hot July month. Paola was great, to receive us and walk us thru the property. All in all, great experience.

Lovely villa in beautiful part of Sicily

We loved our stay in this villa, the house was lovely and the outdoor space was amazing. The only downside was the walk from the villa to the main part of town, which, although short, was down a really not nice alley and steps that felt unsafe

Lovely Roomy Villa

With seven bedrooms, two kitchens, a pool, balconies and extra spaces galore, you'll have a wonderful time in this spacious villa. The owner and property manager and gardener were so sweet and welcoming. Note, it's up on a hill so you have to go down and up as you go in and out of town. Highly recommend for large groups - our group of four adults and two children had plenty of room and could have easily fitted more. Grazie, Paola and Fio!

Excellent villa for groups/families

I had a wonderful stay in the villa with 5 friends of mine for a birthday celebration/reunion. The villa was great in terms of spaciousness, cleanliness and location - the pool and gardens were wonderful, providing much needed shade and refreshing swims when the weather was hot. The location was great with it being within walking distance of the town but yet very peaceful & not disturbed by noise at all. The host, Paola, was excellent and easily contactable for any questions we had and kindly assisted with airport transfer arrangements too. I would highly recommend the villa for family/friend groups looking for somewhere to relax, reconnect and holiday.

Giant house in castelmarre del golfo.

Paola’s house is huge . It’s a bit difficult to find with google and located in an odd neighborhood, but Once you figure it out , it’s well worth the effort. The outside area with newer pool and ocean views north toward Punta raisa is super. Access to the main part of town, harbor and city beach is a 10 minute walk down the hill. Parking at the house is inside the fence and extensive. PMO airport is an easy 30 minute freeway drive which makes it great for large groups to come and go from sicily.

Lovely Castellamare

Paola is a lovely person and an attentive owner. She responded quickly to messages and was very welcoming. The villa was very nice and comfortable, still feeling very roomy even with seven of us. The pool is nice, the grounds are pretty and well-maintained, the views are lovely, and it's easy to walk into town. The one issue we had was that the hot water disappeared twice in the four days we were there. Paola was quick to send someone to fix it both times when she saw our messages, but in the end, we had hot water for just half our stay. Other than that, however, we were very happy with our time in Castellamare, and again, Paola is a wonderful person.

Fabulous villa!

We honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. The villa was large and airy with plenty of bedrooms (all with air conditioning) and bathrooms for the nine of us. The swimming pool was perfect and many enjoyable hours were spent in it! The villa is in an ideal location for exporing Sicily. Paula was so kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. A high wind caused the electricity to the villa to go off one night at 11pm. Paula had people round immediately to look at the fault. It was discovered to be an outside cable that had broken the electricity suppliers had it fixed by 9am the next day ( a Sunday!).

Warmest welcome ever!

Beautiful 7 bedrooms villa, very spacious as well as the garden. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. No need to buy any soaps, shampoo or any practical items one needs( foil paper, cling films, dishwasher soap, salt, herbs & spices etc). Plenty of parking spaces, we needed only two but could fit another 6 cars. Very well situated, walking distance from marina, beach and shops. Communication with the owner, Paola, was easy and questions answered quickly. This was more than just a rented villa it was a magnificent experience! Paola and Camillo welcomed us all very warmly like we were family. Paola prepared a delicious typical Sicilian meal for us upon our arrival. Much appreciated after a long journey. Paola also helped us to celebrate a special birthday that was out of this world…. A whole day visiting Segesta and her farm where friends were waiting for us with ever so good food and even a singer & photographer. Thank you ever so much Paola! Grazie mille for making this birthday a memorable one! Much appreciated it. We loved our stay at Villa del Golfo so much and definitely highly recommend it to our friends and family.

Great views and location!

This was a great location for our group of 8! We had the whole house which was a ton of space for us. Easy from the airport and had some great day trips to San Vito lo capo, Erice/Trapani, zingaro and Palermo. Tons of great restaurants right in Castellemare. The outdoor space at the house was great - we spent a lot of time on the patio! Overall the house was comfortable and functional. The indoor furniture wasn’t super comfortable but we made it work when we needed it! We felt the beds could use a little upgrade - mattresses and bedding. There were towels available but most seemed like pool towels - only a few bath towels. The bathrooms were very nice! I think my personal favorite thing was the freshly pressed olive oil that Paola left for us - so delicious! Paola was very communicative and helpful when we had questions. It is a little bit of a funky house, but really when you go to Sicily you aren’t hanging around the house - too much exploring to do! So it was fine for our needs. Hope to return to castellemare del golfo one day!

Wonderful place

Alles wat je wilt in een vakantie kun je hier vinden. Grote schone accommodatie, mooi uitzicht, prima slaapplaatsen, heerlijk uitzicht, dichtbij het centrum, rustig gelegen. Een aanrader voor grotere groepen of families.

Perfekter Urlaub

Es war alles super. Vom Check-In bis zum Check-Out ohne Probleme. Leider waren einige unserer Koffer im Flugzeug verloren gegangen, aber unsere Vermietern war so nett und versorgte uns direkt mit Duschbad, Zahnbürste, Windeln usw. Was wirklich super lieb war. Ansonsten kann ich vor allem die Aussicht und den Pool hervorheben. Es war traumhaft. Die Stadt generell ist sehr schön.

Casa da favola

Casa da favola, perfetta per gruppi. Paola è un’ospite impeccabile, disponibile e gentile. Vicini cortesi. La piscina è tenuta bene ed il giardino è spettacolare. Cucina ben attrezzata e spazi a tavola per molte persone. La griglia è anche disponibile. Il numero di docce (4 dentro e 4 fuori) è un altro punto forte soprattutto quando bisogna uscire di fretta. Unici punti deboli sono la stanza appena entrati a sinistra senza luce (è stato trovato un piccolo abat-jour) e internet che funziona poco. Per il resto ci siamo trovati davvero molto bene. Siamo sicuri che Paola sistemerà questi pochi vizi rendendola a tutti gli effetti una villa da favola.

Lovely Villa by the sea

Lovely Villa overlooking the sea ,fantastic views from balconies which provide shade in the heat . Great pool area with plenty of sun loungers .Paola was a fantastic host , sorting out any issues quickly and providing advice on trips , and cooking food even though our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until 01.30. And then cooked lunch for us while we were waiting for transfers home ! You can walk to beaches (15 mins ) and town / supermarkets (10-15 mins ) most rooms have a/c which is appreciated in 30-40 degree heat . 2 bathrooms on each level (1 is en suite) and outside bathroom by pool . 4 outdoor showers plus covered bbq area, which is great to read under and escape the sun. No hesitation to recommend.

Schöne Unterkunft, super Lage, sehr nette Vermieter

Villa mit vielen Möglichkeiten, sehr schöner Pool, toller Blick aufs Meer, ruhige Lage aber trotzdem kann man Castellammare, Strand, Supermärkte etc. gut zu Fuß erreichen. Wir wurden mit einem leckeren selbstgekochtem Essen und kühlen Getränken begrüßt. Außerdem bekamen wir eine Tour durch die Stadt und Tipps für Ausflüge in der Region. Vielen Dank für alles an Paola und Sergio!

Perfect villa for a good time at Castellamare

We enjoyed this beautiful villa very much. Paola was a wonderful hostess who showed us around, made food for us and helped book activities like a boat trip. The villa is big and has a very nice garden with pool and tables. In the village Castellamare and espicially at the marina are nice restaurants and bars where we enjoyed ourselves. Everything (beach, marina, supermarket) is within walking distance. We would love to go back one day!

Trip of a lifetime!! stunning villa on the sea!

My family (of 9) recently stayed in this villa for our trip to Castellammare del Golfo. The villa is absolutely stunning and we had an amazing time!. It is sitting on a lot with the most stunning views of Castellammare. Panoramic views of the water and the town where you can experience the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The house sits on a lot with beautiful landscaping and fresh fruit trees which you can enjoy! The house itself was the perfect size for our group of 9. 3 bedrooms downstairs, 4 bedrooms upstairs, plenty of living space.. two kitchens, a bunch of bathrooms and 2 huge balconies upstairs! Every night we would have a large family dinner in the kitchen which was great! There is plenty of outdoor patio space as well but since it was fairly windy we did not get to enjoy it The location was very convenient to town and also to the autostrada. Easy to find! I highly recommend this villa! and can not wait to visit beautiful Castellammare again!! :)

Beside being gracious hosts they also take pride in making our guests feel at home the minute they arrive. We help them get familiar with the main attraction of the town, show the closest supermarkets, fresh produce local stores, best and most reasonable restaurants in town.

Why they chose this property

Paola & her husband Camillo bought this property in 1999.This is the ideal place where we can live when we retire. The villa is very spacious and comfortable to have our four children and their family come and spend valuable family time with us. The barbecue area surrounded by olive,orange, white fig and bay leave trees , it is really my favorite corner!

What makes this property unique

In the morning you may sit in the Veranda and enjoy your breakfast and coffee while gazing at a clear blue sky which touches the emerald blue sea. From your balcony you can see Capo San Vito; the extreme northwest point of Sicily. During the evening you can go for a nice walk towards the Lungo Mare, La Marina, Piazza Petrolo. You can easily eat out in one of the many restaurants where you can enjoy rich flavorful traditional Sicilian dishes, accompanied by only the best wines, which blend tradition, culture and excellence. In addition, you can visit the local shops or sit outside a local café and enjoy the some Sicilian cannoli and pastries.
