Amazing stay, amazing host!

Leah’s place is perfect. The location is great — very walkable to lots of cool stuff, while the apartment itself is nice and quiet. It had everything and was very comfortable/spacious. Additionally, Leah was SO accommodating and communicative. I hope to stay at Leah’s place again!

Great little place!

My friend and I visited Chicago for the first time and we had such a great time! The place was great and very clean. Also felt very safe while here. Just make sure to park correctly on the street or the neighbors will put mean notes on your car lol.

Super Cute Stay

Visited Chicago for the weekend and enjoyed our stay in this cute house. Close by to attractions in Irving park and Logan Square. All walkable ot easily to get to with public transportation. Leah communicated quickly to all questions I had and made our stay very enjoyable.

Feels like Home

My wife and I chose the place due to the close proximity to our daughter's place. It was great! Beds were comfortable and the place was just as they described it. Leah was a great host. Very responsive and accommodating to our requests. Will definitely seek to stay here the next time we visit. Darren and Melinda.

Nice spot for a good price

I stayed here with some friends for a wedding. Leah was very gracious and helped us out when a bridesmaid dress had to be delivered to the property, and was very helpful and responsive. This place fit our price point and we felt very safe, and there were lots of walkable stores and restaurants nearby.

Clean, Comfy space to use as a base for exploring Chicago

Perfect for up to 4 people. You do have to climb steep stairs to the 2nd-floor apt. It was a good location to drive to see the sites of Chicago. Parking was easy & free which can be an issue in Chicago.

Great Hosts!

I stayed at Leah and Samuel's place for two months (February-March) while I was looking to purchase a place in Chicago. They were so pleasant and catered to all my needs and beyond, even when I mistakenly thought the lock was not working Leah was there to show me it actually was working.The flat is in an old house and if you live in an old house or have you'll know that older places have their quirks as this one does but nothing to make it a deal breaker. It's spacious and a nice place stay and convenient to transportation and amenities.

If only it was cleaner…

The good: Leah was a good communicator and very responsive over messenger. The apartment itself was quiet, spacious, and followed the description in VRBO. It has a wonderful, walkable location with free parking! The unexpected: AC is provided by 2 box units in the kitchen and dining room. Our first night there, they couldn’t keep up with the intense heat (96 outside), so it never got below 80 in the bedrooms. This made sleeping a bit rough, but probably was due to extenuating circumstances. If it’s not crazy hot, you will be fine! The ugly: While clean on the surface, we found some gross surprises. Our little guy dropped a truck behind a couch cushion, and we picked it up to find it littered with cigarette butts. Under the bed, we found a used needle in a syringe. These two surprises grossed us out, and made us wonder what else wasn’t quite cleaned up. We let Leah know, and she said they use a cleaning company, and would inform the company. With better cleaning, I’m sure it would be a charming place.
