This was the cutest spacious little get away place. We had 8 women and fit comfortably. The host thought of everything when putting this place for listing. We did bring our own food but everything else was stocked! Thank you for making us feel at home, away from home!
Stayed here to visit with our daughter and her husband, while hosting friends whose bucket list included Nashville. Area was decent enough but the street is fairly busy during the day.The house was perfect for our party of 7, including the back yard for my dog. I would stay here again.
Perfect place for my family and I to stay while in town for my nieces wedding. Hosts were fantastic and have a very nice place. Would look to stay there again!
Nice clean house. We had a great stay with our family. Large bedrooms and large back yard. Hancock street is pretty busy so it would have been nice to have a fenced in backyard. Close to Gallatin and Hendersonville.
Fantastic trip! Property was exactly as described. It met all of our needs for our week stay. Check in and check out were a breeze and made our trip seamless. It was conveniently located near restaurants and stores, but had a quiet neighborhood feel. We enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend this property for anyone needing to stay in Gallatin (or visiting Nashville).
Check in was seamless and the house was very clean. The kitchen was well appointed with tools, storage containers, and many new appliances. As some previous reviews noted, the house is located off a busy and somewhat noisy street so be sure to bring a sound machine or other sleep aide if you have young children or are a light sleeper.
We recently stayed at the Hancock House while we were in town for our daughter's wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better stay! The home was clean, comfortable & centrally located to everywhere we needed to go. There are various grocery stores and restaurants to choose from close by as well. We would highly recommend this property if you're in the area & will definitely use it again! Thanks for a great visit!
Attended a nearby wedding. Shops everywhere and close by to pick up provisions. Nail salons too. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, lovely decor. Nice deck in back, and even a few chairs on front porch which was lovely in the mornings.
Beautiful house, well done and very clean. We book to stay here for the weekend of our wedding and it was perfect. There was a small family reception afterwards and everyone at somepoint mentioned how nice the house was. ....the owner was also very responsive and nice.
Almost everything was great. The exception — the floors pop like you’re walking on bubble wrap. The laminate flooring wasn’t installed with a noise barrier and it clicks and clacks with every step. It becomes extremely annoying.
My family had a wonderful visit and enjoyed the Hancock home while in Gallatin to visit our family for the Christmas holiday. The house was clean, has a vintage charm and was warm and friendly as soon as we stepped into the front door. We also enjoyed the Christmas decorations throughout the home. The host, Dotti, definitely thought of everything a traveling pet family would need including the much appreciated gate closures at the bottom and top of the stairs. Also, from the moment we were looking for a home in the Gallatin, TN area, Dotti was extremely accommodating and responded immediately to every message I sent to her answering my questions. We definitely recommend the Hancock house and will most definitely come back again.
The house was immaculate. Beds were extremely comfortable. We go to a lot of rentals because of my granddaughter's dance competition schedule. The beds were one of the most comfortable we have slept on. Nicely decorated. It was a little further from our dance venue but that was my fault for not checking it out before booking the rental. We had an issue with 2 of the bedroom TV remotes but owner was very responsive and actually came over and corrected the issue while we were out. Would definitely stay here again.
