Take a break & unwind in this charming 2nd floor one bedroom unit in the peaceful East End gallery district of Provincetown. The unit is located in a house right on the water on Commercial St’s bay side with a beach access. Featuring bay windows with partial water views, a beach access, and a shared beach deck with lounge chairs. The sunrises & magic hours will mesmerize you! This is your perfect Ptown on the water getaway. There are other units available in this house. See property IDs below.

The unit is located on the 2nd floor of a charming house on the water which has seen the likes of playwrights Eugene O'Neill & Lauren Hansberry, actress Demi Moore and novelist Ayn Rand. The unit is not directly on the water but is in a house that is on the waterfront, and the unit has partial water views. The house features multiple units which can also be rented if you need more space for your group. The unit has a main space which features a living room with pull out queen sofa bed, a cute dining nook with water views, a coffee table with a pull out desk to work on a laptop, and a kitchen. There is a bedroom with a queen size bed and a bathroom with a shower. In the summer, you can turn on the AC if needed. In the off season, the heat thermostat control lets you make the unit nice and warm. You will enjoy watching the water views while having breakfast in the dining nook!

The comfortable queen sleeper in the living room offers a second sleeping space. Linens will be provided upon request. Be the first to wake up to bay views!

The beach deck is communal and is for everybody to enjoy!

No parties allowed. This is not a party house. We have other renters in the house.
Pets must be housebroken, not bark a lot, and be safe around furniture. Don't leave any poop bags outside. Pet fee for short term stays: $150/week.
Please open the windows and turn on the fan if you plan on cooking with smoke. We have wired smoke alarms throughout the house.

This is a great place to call home base for a stay in Provincetown. We couldn’t have asked for a better location and having access to the bay beach behind the property was so convenient. The space was quiet, very clean and had everything we needed, including an amazing view and an amazing host! Would stay here again.

Great place for 1 or 2 , everything you need and a great location. Old homes often have more noise transference issues, and I had a family in apartment next store with noisy kids. Fantastic sunrises from back deck.

Excellent stay

Alain is such a kind host, and this apartment is cozy and clean. The location is also perfect on the east side of Commercial Street - short walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops, while nestled in among art studios and quiet. Alain is so kind and responsive, and this apartment had everything we (couple with our dog) needed for a comfortable stay - small but very functional kitchen, comfiest couch, storage for our luggage, amenities, etc.

Clean and comfortable and right on the water

Owner was very responsive and helpful, even while traveling. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed. Quiet location on the East End but close enough to walk to center. Great time! And the dog had fun too!

Dog Friendly & Great Location

My husband and I made a somewhat last minute vacation decision and were looking for a spot where we could bring both our dogs. Alain’s place was perfect for us. We know Provincetown very well so being right on the beach and on Commercial Street was a dream - it didn’t require us to drive at all or pack up to go anywhere. Very ideal! Plus it was outfitted with everything we needed to cook breakfast, enjoy a meal in or just relax inside or out.

Great Couples Retreat

Overall, great place to stay for a relaxing vacation. Quiet, cozy, walk right out onto the shore/beach. Could use some curtains in the living room/den area and bathroom. We hung a towel in the bathroom so the neighbors couldn't see in directly 10 feet next door. Little strange with them staring down at us in the living room. A K-cup Keurig would be a nice upgrade for the coffee maker. It’s a small place but it has what it needs for a vacation cottage on the shore. Would definitely come and stay again!
