Birthday trip

We have stayed here multiple times. It is always wonderful. Perfect location to walk to downtown yet still feels secluded. Always fun to see the bears.

This place was so perfect for us. Everybody had their own bedroom which included tvs and couches so they could get away from the chaos if they had to. The layout of the house is awesome and perfect for a large group. The game room kept everybody entertained for hours on rainy days. We had a blast!

A great time with kids and grandkids. The house was great and we really appreciated the close proximity to the main area of Gatlinburg, access to easy hiking trails, etc.

Large rooms and great location!

We absolutely loved this cabin. Its proximity to the strip and the tram to Ober make it very easy to get around. We are already planning next years trip back to this cabin.

Extended Family Vacation-4th of July

Property is as listed, very spacious. Could use a little updating. The furniture is pretty worn, and the pool table/stick holder are well used and in need of some repairs. None of those things made our time any less enjoyable! Cabin is very close to Downtown Gatlinburg, and we were very easily able to walk to all the attractions/shops, so we didn't have to pay for parking. We could see the drone display and fireworks with a very short walk to the end of the street and didn't have to fight any crowds. The owners were very quick to respond to any needs or concerns. We definitely plan on booking again, would love to stay during the fall to see all the beautiful colors.

Great house and location

House was perfect for a family trip to Gatlinburg. Location made it easy to drive into the park without having to go through all the traffic in downtown. Easy drive to and from downtown.

Great Place within Walking Distance to the Strip

Gatlinburg cabin

This was an excellent property! From the location within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg, fenced I back yard for the dogs, plenty of space for everyone, we had a wonderful time. Will definitely be staying here again!

Family Girls Trip

We had a great time at this property, it was clean & spacious, blocks away from downtown Gatlinburg, yet still very private. I definitely recommend this home if you are looking to be close to shopping, food, and entertainment.

Great stay

This is a great place to stay! We absolutely loved the location. The cabin was plenty big enough for our whole family (3 couples and 3 kids). My 3 yr old loved playing pool while the older kids/adults fought over the arcade game. Would stay here again!

Beyond Expectations

This cabin has it all, and is inside the Gatlinburg city limits, only a short distance from the trail to Sugarland. All ages loved it for the size of our group (13) and the comfort and amenities, as well as the location.

Great for our family getaway!

Location of propery was fantastic only minutes to walk to downtown Gatlinburg. We had a couple items that needed attention and the promptness and communication with the host was rapid and quickly resolved the items needing repair. We will definitely rent this house again!

The cabin was awesome

The cabin was perfect and was very clean. The host was great always responded quickly if needed. The best part besides the hot tub was the fenced in back yard. We always travel with our golden so the fence was perfect to let him play.

Awesome!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! So close to town. The owners and their team is exceptional with communication! This is our second time staying in this home while in Gatlinburg. And..it will not be our last! Oh..and bears.. I have to mention them. They were one of the highlights of our trip.

Great Location, lots of room

We had a great stay at Homespun Hospitality. There were 4 adults and 3 teenagers and everyone had plenty of room to spread out. The cabin was very convenient to the main strip of the parkway and the teens could walk down and explore whilst the adults kicked back and relaxed. The pool table and video games were enjoyed by all. Just watch the Galaga console when taking that long shot down the table. Since it rained most of our trip, the hot tub was a welcome distraction when we couldn't get out and explore.

Great Cabin !

We love staying in this cabin. The rooms were very spacious and the bedrooms were huge. The fencened in backyard was great for are small dog. It was so close to downtown we walked most of the time.So no searching for a parking spot. There were a few things that needed to be fixed but didn't cause any problem. We will definatelly will be back next year!! Thanks for sharing your cabin can't wait till next year!

Beautiful Setting

We arrived to our location about 10 minutes early. The cleaning had not been done yet and we were told that the housekeeper would be done by 4:20, 20 minutes after our check in time. They didn't show up until after 4:20, they cleand quickly and got us in. The house could use a deep cleaning, the floorboards,need to be cleaned. The windows need to be cleaned and other deep cleaning items need to be addressed. We got to see three black bears that were hanging out around the cabin. One came up under the deck. All in all we had a great time. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cabin.

Nice Location

Pros: The location to downtown was great, and the owners were quick to address reported problems. We were able se too brats every night of our stay. Cons: hot tub did not work and took two repair men all weekend to decide it was the pump that needed replaced so was not able to enjoy the hot tub until after 10 pm our final night there. Also no cold wster in kitchen sink maintenance man said problem was due yo a valve being shut off. He turned tne valve on but did not check to see if that resolved the problem. It was tne line to tne refrigerator that allowed to make ice cubes that he turned on. Finally, there were no cleaning products at all in the cabin. While this cabin accommodatesd our needs, due to all of the other problems, I will not rent from this place again. I even inquired as to a partial refund due to hot tub not being accessible and was denied.

Please clean your space

Had to call for check in, gave us wrong code. Place needs a good cleaning, apparently they don’t check their properties. A lot of dust, spider webs and dirty base boards. Even the envelope to leave a tip was stained. Deck also was dirty with mildew on chair. Not enough sheets, the jacuzzi is also disgusting, makes you smell like mildew. Local to town. Isn’t very friendly to converse with. A bed was broken from a guest sitting on it. Not even near the broken part. The person they had sent out said it was a manufacturing problem and it shouldn’t have done that. Then they decided based on a picture it wasn’t because they’ve been doing this for 15+ years. You would then think they would check on their property. There are nails sticking up, and lots of things in the verge of breaking. Even the other king bed is held up with cinder blocks. Apparently also the insurance doesn’t cover anything, they still want me to pay for their faulty bed.

We had a fantastic time, saw plenty of wildlife and bears every day. We would book this cabin again if it will accommodate the number of family members traveling next time, as we were missing a few this time. Our only complaints were that the beds downstairs were uncomfortable, all of the faucets we discovered are leaky and the washer/dryer needs replaced; washer doesn’t spin water out properly and dryer takes 2 hours to dry a load. Other than that, we had a great time.

Homespun has a large fenced in yard good for kids or fur babies nestled in the heart of Gatlinburg. Its a 10 minute walk to downtown Gatlinburg and backs up to 13 acres of woods. You have all the conveniences of being in town but it doesn't feel like your in town. And did I forget to mention that bears come to visit also!!
