The Ardea Inn is a classic Victorian, thoughtfully restored to provide comfort and enjoyment for your family. There are four spacious rooms and three bathrooms on the second floor of the house. The first floor offers shared community spaces for cooking, dining, relaxing and social engagement with your friends and family. A fully equipped kitchen, game room, piano room, front porch, back deck, and back yard offer a variety of environments to enjoy the property both inside and out. There is ample parking on site and the house is conveniently located within walking distance of a large grocery store, Whirlpool State Park, the Aquarium, and Niagara Falls State Park. You will not be disappointed by our home during your stay.
We offer a variety of amenities to allow for a comfortable and convenient experience while you are in Niagara Falls, USA. The house is tastefully decorated with art work created by local artists. All the artwork is for sale, feel free to inquire about pricing during your visit. We also have a full cabinet of board games, puzzles, art supplies, and more for the enjoyment of people young and old. Our piano room features a baby grand and its keys have brought hours of musical enjoyment to many of our guests. We have a television in the living room so you can enjoy a movie with your family in the evening. We do not have cable television, but feel free to access your personal streaming account to enjoy a movie of your choosing.
Our outdoor spaces are most enjoyable. You can spend time on the front porch or patio (there are extra seat cushions for the patio chairs in the front entry of our home, in the bench seat). The rear deck is spacious, private and quiet. There is a table and chairs for sharing meals outdoors during the warmer months and a gas grill for preparing your favorite meals outdoors. We have a backyard and fire circle for campfires and for kicking back under the stars.
Our home can accomodate groups up to ten people and we have a parking lot for 4-5 cars next to the house. There is also ample parking on the street if needed.

Your host
My daughter Lavinia and I have been hosting guests at our home for the last 4 years. We spend most of our time in Buffalo these days, but enjoy weekend retreats to the Falls whenever possible. We absolutely love Niagara Falls. Lavinia highly recommends that if possible you book a trip on the Maid of the Mist. After reading in our hammock next to the Rapids, it is definitely our favorite destination. We also love spending time in the Niagara Falls State Park, which is absolutely beautiful and allows almost direct access to the Niagara River just above the Falls. On Goat Island you can get very close and feel the power of the Falls in several places. If you have a passport, you can walk across the Rainbow Bridge and take in views from the Canadian Side. There are also several more restaurant options on the Canadian side of the Falls.
Why they chose this property
The best attribute of our house is the walkability. You can walk to the Falls in 15 minutes, Whirlpool State Park in 15 minutes, the Aquarium in about 15 minutes, and resturants and shops on 3rd Avenue in about 15 minutes. Our neighborhood is very safe and most of our neighbors are homeowners. At the end of the street, they removed a four lane highway and built a park. It runs the full length of the NIagara Gorge from Niagara Falls State Park to Whirlpool State Park.
What makes this property unique
We spent a lot of time restoring our Victorian Home. We have beautiful hardwood floors, vintage lighting, spacious bathrooms, 9' ceilings, a large piano room, game room, kitchen, and dining area. We also provide guests with a fully stocked kitchen, breakfast provisions, and a wide assortment of coffee and teas. People boast about our breakfast options on all of our platforms. The art work we've selected and hung throughout the house is all created by local artists and is all available for sale to our guests. We have very comfortable beds, cozy linens and comforters, and plush towels. Our space is always impeccably clean and we've tried to consider every detail to improve the comfort of your stay.
