The house is fantastic with an excellent floor plan and a very nice sized yard. The location is perfect - a very quiet area close to the bay. It’s now my go to place whenever I visit the Island.
My wife and I stayed for four nights while visiting family during the holidays. Very clean, well appointed, and had everything we needed. Many thanks to Sam.
Charming little house with modern kitchen and plenty of space in walkable country neighborhood. Big fenced in back yard with nice lawn and patio for hanging out with friends and family. Wish we could’ve stayed longer and hope to come back.
The cottage was an absolutely perfect place for our long weekend, visiting family. The location is very conveniently located and, yet, exceptionally quiet and peaceful. All amenities were superb and exceeded all expectations. Going forward, this may well become our only place to stay when visiting Long Island. Excellent Host!
Perfect stay for what I needed. Visiting my Mom amnd needed something close by.
Only advice is owner gives wi fi password make sure you have it as whole area has bad cell service
We were a family of four visiting the area for a baseball tournament and needed a place to stay for a home base. This home was perfect and we hope to rent it for the future. It was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. Beautiful, nice appliances. Sam was incredibly kind and communicative, giving us tons of recommendations. Our kids loved playing in the lawn out front. I can’t wait to go back and plan to send my parents to Sam’s house for a weekend.
We loved the peace and quiet of the home. It was clean and neat with top notch appliances. We especially loved the ice balls from the freezer. Our corgi was welcomed and felt at home, we ty for that. We would stay again.
Sam was great, with open communication, when we reached out.
This peaceful, quite serene little town of Brookhaven was just what we needed for our summer getaway. The area was stunning. Cute little town, great restaurants and farmstands. The house was perfect for our needs. The house was neat and clean and was well stocked with everything we needed. Morning coffee in the backyard watching all of the different birds and wildlife was a great way to start your day. Todd was a great host and we can’t wait to go back next year!

Scott and Laura were truly the perfect guests - I loved getting to know them, and so happy they enjoyed their time in Brookhaven! When I returned to the house, it was in better shape than when I left it. Hope to have you back soon - thank you Scott and Laura!
Such a well appointed small home on a larger, quiet property. Love the style of the decor and modern upgrades of the interior. My local family we were visiting liked the rental so much that they chose to visit us at the rental rather than we visiting them at their home close by! Beds were very comfortable. One bathroom has a bidet seat which is great! Super cute backyard with portable fire pit, chairs with cushions, lighting, and speakers for music. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again the next time we come down to LI to visit family!
The owner was very quick to respond to all communication. There were some minor cleanliness issues (broken and bad eggs in the refrigerator, floors were not clean, and the tubs were backing up) but overall cleanliness was acceptable. Pots and pans were in bad shape and I purchased new ones to use. I did find the lack of blinds and curtains in the main living areas of the home disturbing. The bathrooms are TINY. Other than that, the location was good and the house served our purpose. The appliances are nice, and the home is well stocked with things like paper products, bags, and kitchen pantry staples. I did think there should be better lighting outside in the front of the home since that area is so dark. The only light we could get to work was just over the front door. It needed the one over the garage, but we couldn’t figure out how to get that one on and think it was not functioning. Beds were a bit hard for us, but that is subjective. Apart from the bathrooms, the rest of the home was pretty roomy. The outdoor living space was nice.
