About the host
Hosted by Grey Bruce Cottages Inc.
Grey Bruce Cottages Inc. is a vacation property management company dedicated to providing 5-star guest experiences at some of Bruce Peninsula and Georgian Bluffs most stunning residences. We do this through a unique combination of skills, experience and hard work from locally employed people who care about the community within which we serve.
Why they chose this property
Isthmus Bay is the home to affluent summer vacationers and is located just outside of Lion's Head, a charming village located on the 45th parallel and mid-Peninsula. The rocky headlands of Lion's Head are part of the long ridge of ancient limestone that forms the famous Niagara Escarpment. Nature, the sculptor, with tools of wind, rain and frost, has carved fantastic shapes along the face of these limestone bluffs. The massive form of a lion's head about 168 feet in height (one more distinctly visible than now) guards the entrance to the snug harbour. The harbour is now used by vacationing yachtsman and crew, and families who love to swim and kayak in the absolutely breathtaking aqua-blue waters.
