About this property

Buffalo Camp 2 - Couples Cabin MINUTES to BufPt or Dillards

YOUR GETAWAY TO THE OUTDOORS!

Buffalo Camp 2 is perfect for couples, a fishing weekend, or for taking a break from a tent.

INSIDE:

160sf cabin (one room)

1 Full Bed (sleeps 2)

Kitchenette with ample counter space, fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker.

No running water in the cabin (water available from Bathhouse)

Rocker and dinette table

Electricity, A/C, heat, fiber wi-fi, linens, pillows, towels, paper plates, bowls.

** Your running water is available from your private Bathhouse Bathroom **

Your Camp 2 Bathroom is located in our Camp Bathhouse - about 40 yards from your front porch. The walk from BC2 to the bathhouse does include an incline. We find some guests drive from their cabin to the bathhouse for convenience. You and your party will have use of a full bath that includes shower, toilet, and large sink. You will not share the bathroom with anyone else during your stay (no stalls, multiple toilets, etc). Our housekeeping closet is located in this bathroom, so our team may enter (if unoccupied) to gather supplies.

OUTSIDE:

Covered front porch (6' x 16') spanning the length of the cabin where you can relax and listen to nature at your 2 person dinette or sitting area.

Firepit and picnic table are just off the steps.

Propane Grill on your deck. Bring your cooking supplies.

We request our guests REFILL the propane tank if they use the last of the gas, as a courtesy to the next guest upon arrival. Wild Bill’s exchanges tanks at the corner.

Your view off the porch deck is into our forest, which includes the historic Lynch waterslide just outside your porch landing! You are situated between Camp 2 and our Baker Lodge.

PARKING:

Free, and ample. If you are bringing trailers (RV’s, 4x4’s), we have space – just let us know

COMMUNITY AMENTIES:

Laundry facilities are available - you will have keyed entry to a laundry room with washer and dryer (no coins needed!)

Large Lawn and swings available to all guests.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Your WATER, including your bathroom (shower, sink, toilet) is located in our renovated Bath House about 20 yards from your cabin door. This is a cool piece of Buffalo Point history - it was the old Lynch waterslide bathhouse, where locals got into their swimsuits to ride the slide. We've redone the bathrooms for our guests.

Our internet is not super fast. It tends to work fine for streaming movies, email, video calls.

Video Monitoring. We take seriously the safety of our guests, our team and the property. External video devices are used on this property for security purposes only. These devices are located facing the driveways and paths so we can monitor access. Access to data is limited to our owners and stored for a set period of time by our third party provider.

Hi! Thank you for considering renting our cabins here in the Lower Buffalo National River. When we first visited the area we fell in love with how peaceful the river is and how close to nature we can be when here. We dreamed of helping people get away from the business of everyday life and get outdoors. We bought the cabins and have put our heart into fixing them up for our guests. We hope you enjoy!

Why they chose this property

When you're here, you're in nature. The Buffalo National River forest adjoins our property. In the spring, you drive to the end of our road and into the Buffalo Point access of the river. There's a sea of dogwoods as you drive down to the river. In the summer, we love to see the families hopping into kayaks and canoes for a float. Fall brings amazing colors and wintertime is perfect for hiking and enjoying a cozy electric fire and watching the snow.

What makes this property unique

On this land, years ago, kids and adults would come and enjoy the Lynch in-ground waterslide. You can see remnants of it on our grounds.
