Recently Renovated Flat In The Heart Of Pigna With Panoramic Views and a Balcony

In the centre of the village we propose this delicious flat, just renovated. Being south faced it has sun the whole year. The flat is on the second floor of a ancient stone house. The property, with high ceilings made of wood, is made of a double bedroom furnished with antique furniture, a large living room with a kitchen, a mezzanine where three people can sleep, a bathroom and a balcony with a wonderful view over the Nervia Valley and the village of Castelvittorio. The living room has a large flat TV. Fast Wi-Fi internet through an antenna is available for free as wll as air conditioning. The flat, which is furnished with all the modern appliances and a centralized heating, is in the historic centre of Pigna which is only accessible on foot, but parking is just 100 meters away. Pigna is a a medieval village 21 kilometers from the sea and not far away from the French Riviera and Montecarlo. Nice airport is about one hour by car. The area is part of a regional park with other medieval villages and a pristine nature where you can practice several sports, such as canyoning, mountain biking, montaineering, horse riding and walking. In Pigna and in the neighbouring villages you can find excellent restaurants where you can taste the local cuisine. Pigna is listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy by the Italian Private Tourism Association "Touring club":

Quaint and Relaxing

Caretaker Georgia and Owner Alessandro are very gracious and want to be sure you enjoy your stay. Georgia lives nearby and is available for any needs. This property is located in the old centro of Pigna, and parking is a bit of a hike, but well worth it. Be sure to pay attention to how you get to the apartment and which door it is. The route is a bit of a warren of old passages and many doors along the way. Sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and some cheese before heading out for dinner is a lovely way to end a day of hiking or shopping on/in nearby trails and towns. Restaurant choices are limited in town, a couple bar/cafe's and one restaurant within short walking distance. Across the bridge just on the north side of town the hotel is a wonderful restaurant worth a hike or short drive, and continuing up the hill to the next small town that you can see from below provides some options for more dining. Bring some soap and shampoo (maybe a corkscrew in case the guest prior to you make off with the house tool), but everything else you need is there. Beware that there are many steps (of different heights) to get to the apartment, so anyone with knee, hip or heart issues may want to think twice, for everyone else it is worth the climb and you get quite used to it, so that is a good thing.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in dieser sehr schönen Gegend in einem voll ausgestatteten sehr sauberen Apartment. Wenn es Fragen gab, kam Antwort und Hilfe von Alessandro umgehend! Die Laghetti in der Nähe sind wunderbar und erfrischend. Die Pizzeria "sul Ponte"im Dorf unten sehr empfehlen zuempfeempfehlen!empfehlen!onAlessandro, der sehr hilfsbereit und bemüht war

posto ideale per un ferragosto fresco nella natura

Pigna e' stata una grande scoperta per una vacanza d'agosto, in compagnia di tre bambini. Lasciando gli altri a patire il caldo e la folla in spiaggia, noi siamo stati ad esplorare laghetti e torrenti attorno a questo paese molto bello, tipicamente ripido. Ogni giorno trovavamo una nuova strada nascosta o tunnel fra le case per scendere alla ottima gelateria, e alla sera il sonno era garantito, fra il silenzio e tutti i chilometri di salite! Casa bella, con una meravigliosa vista sulla valle, accoglienza e preparazione impeccabili. Il proprietario mi ha mandato consigli su cosa visitare e dove mangiare, con attenzione anche ai prezzi. La cucina e' ben attrezzata il che ci ha permesso di cucinare varie volte a casa, aveva tutto il necessario - in confronto l'alloggio seguente aveva pochi piatti (quadrati) e un paio di padelle, era un incubo. Ottima lavatrice sul terrazzino. Nel paese e' facile trovare anche tutti i cassonetti per il riciclo. Ci siamo sentiti come a a casa nostra in breve tempo. I bambini sono stati benissimo nel grande soppalco, pero' tenere presente che il soffitto e' un po' basso e bisogna muoversi con cautela per non battere la testa. Detto questo le scale sono sicure e l'appartamento' e' ideale per vacanza con famiglia. Pigna e i paesi circostanti sono belli e ben tenuti, il cibo ottimo, non vedo l'ora di tornare ed esplorare ancora l'entroterra ligure. Oltre alle raccomandazioni del proprietario, consiglio il ristorante "le Trote" un po' piu' giu' nella valle, dove si puo' pescare e far cucinare il proprio pesce - l'ambiente aperto intorno al laghetto e' veramente carino. La casa rispondeva alla mie aspettative ma l'accoglienza andava oltre. Lo raccomando.
