5 minutes from Spooky Nook Sports, 10 minutes from Manheim junction center,
20 minutes from downtown Lancaster, and 25 minutes from Hershey, this home is the perfect getaway close to many great attractions!
The space
The entire house is newly updated and the kitchen is fully stocked with basics, including spices, coffee, tea, and bottled water, as well as a microwave, oven, and refrigerator.

Bedroom 1, the master suite on the first floor, has a modern queen-sized bed and a newly remodeled adjoining bathroom featuring a rain-head shower.

Bedroom 2, on the second floor, is stylish and spacious with a wall mirror and a queen-sized bed featuring trendy schoolhouse brand bedding.

Bedroom 3, also on the second floor, has a comfy cozy queen-size bed with plenty of pillows. The bathroom on the second floor is updated and features a double shower.

Guests have access to the entire house, sunporch, and spacious back deck with child safety enclosures.
The 2 door garage on the back side of the property is not accessible. Please avoid parking directly in front of the garage doors. There are plenty of parking spaces on the large driveway.

This place is great -- especially if you have tournaments at Spooky Nook sports complex. Very very convenient to have a washer and dryer and a nice place to relax !! Thanks Verna for taking such good care of us.

We loved staying in this adorable house during a spooky nook tournament weekend. Beds were comfortable, and the house was clean. Great shower pressure! My only complaint is it is on a main road, but we didn’t have any issues during our stay.

Very nice home and great location to stores and some restaurants . It was a bit noisy for our liking being that it's on a Main road , then again we live in the country where it's very quiet. The house was clean and neat and comfortable for four to six people max . Overall ..we enjoyed our stay.

Had a wonderful stay! We needed to be close to Spooky Nook for sports and we were minutes away. The home was located on a main rd, but we had everything we needed super close by! The home was very clean, charming, and check in with the host was super easy! Will stay here again!

Convenient

Convenient location for our visit to Lititz for the weekend. Plenty of parking and the house was perfect for our group to gather and spend time together. Lots of restaurants nearby as well as a grocery store and convenience stores.

The house is cozy and convenient. We were in town for a basketball tournament at Spooky Nook. My family loved the house. It was one of the best stocked homes we have ever stayed in which made our stay that much better. It was perfect for a family of 5. There is a grocery store/shopping center across the street which was an added plus. I would highly recommend and would look to stay here again in the future.

Great Place to Stay

Very clean house from the second floor bedrooms down to the basement. Large easy access driveway with plenty of parking. Grocery stores nearby . Have everything you need for cooking meals. Large table in the enclosed porch was perfect for our family dinners. We all felt so welcome,comfortable, and at home .

Lovely Mount Joy Home

This property was perfect for our family trip to Hershey Park. House was perfectly decorated and furnished with everything we needed. Each bedroom was cozy and comfortable. Bathrooms were very nice too. House was very, very clean. Only 30 minutes from Hershey park and very easy to and from. Owner was very responsive for checking in and out. Would definitely stay here again!

East Main Lounge was our home away from home while we celebrated our son’s wedding at the Booking House in Manheim. Directly across the street from a grocery store plaza with everything you need. The house is immaculate. My favorite spot to relax was by the cozy fireplace. Thank you Verna!

Mount Joy gem

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at this property in Mount Joy, which was just as advertised. Very conveniently located to Spooky Nook (we were here for a field hockey tournament), restaurants and grocery store. Plenty of towels were provided so we didn't even need to do laundry. Kitchen was well supplied. Fireplace made the living room very cozy. We would definitely return again!

Well-appointed and spotless

The home was comfortable, well-decorated and beautifully clean! Parking was easy - plenty of room in the driveway. Check-in was a breeze; the front door lock was easy to use. The home is decorated beautifully and has every amenity you could want in the kitchen and bathrooms. Nice having a market very close by. And the drive to Lancaster, Lititz and the little town of Mount Joy was easy. It was a pleasure to communicate with Verna. We highly recommend this home!

Charming House

This house was the perfect place for our weekend wedding in Mount Joy. It is just minutes to great restaurants, grocery and adorable coffee shops. Every thing was so close and easy to navigate. The house itself is so quaint and charming. It is beautifully decorated. The cleanliness and attention to details made it so relaxing and comfortable. Check-in and checkout was easy and Verna thought of the little things that made a huge difference - stocked water and coffee! :) We really enjoyed our stay and plan to be back to do more exploring.

Solid location if outside the city

We were back in town visiting family for the holiday and this spot was perfect location if you have a lot of stuff to do around (extended) Lancaster (the city, Manheim, Mount Joy, etc.). While not in a "walkable" area, you have the staples super close so anything you need is very accessible (gas, groceries, DD, etc.). The house was very clean and everything was in good working order. Was very cold so we didn't spend much time outside there but the back porch/deck/yard seemed great for warmer weather. Plenty of parking in the driveway and easy access from both front and back of the house if loading/unloading.
