Welcome to our fully updated mid-century modern golf house remodeled in homage to Chambers Bay. Located just minutes down the road from the golf course, this home is perfect for any golfers visiting the area.

Not a golfer? You will enjoy our fully equipped kitchen with modern amenities, the updated bathroom, three cozy bedrooms, living room with a 65" smart tv, and private balcony.

Additionally, each guest will receive discounts at local restaurants and entertainment, including Chambers Bay!

The Space

This home is a Chambers Bay museum! Enjoy discovering all of our exclusive decorations spread out throughout the house.

There are three bedrooms. Two bedrooms have queen beds and one bedroom has two twin beds. All beds have new memory foam gel mattresses with fresh linens to help you reenergize before your morning tee time.

Don't feel like eating out after your round? Our kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, new electric oven, a 3-in-1 microwave/broil/air fryer. Or, simply BBQ on our new propane grill. Wake up with a cup of drip coffee, some toast, or even blend a smoothie. No need to hand wash after, everything is dishwasher safe!

Then, relax in our living room looking out at our nature surroundings through our mid-century modern style picture frame windows. You can watch your favorite streaming app on our 65" smart tv. Or, unplug yourself and enjoy reading our Chambers Bay and PNW magazines. We have puzzles and cards located in the kitchen cabinet in the dining room as well. You can also take in the fresh air on our private balcony. Can you find the Tacoma Narrows Bridge?

Finally, we know the PNW has unpredictable weather. We have provided a new stackable washer/dryer to ensure you have the right clothes for each new day on the course!

Guest Access:
This home is the main level of a duplex unit. You get access to the whole main floor with private entrance, private access back deck, front yard, and the two parking spots under the carport.

This property allowed us to be very close to family in UP. The home was squeaky clean, beds and linens very comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Good neighborhood and close to downtown UP with Whole Foods, bakery, coffee shop.

Peaceful MCM hideaway!

It was a rare treat to stay at Ryan and Chris’ mid-century modern home. They have kept all the charming touches you associate with a MCM home and added the modern conveniences for today’s consumers. When you look at the pictures for the listing you will see exactly what you can expect when you walk into the home. In addition, the neighborhood is quiet and parking in the carport -right at the front door -is convenient. Couldn't ask for anything more!

Relaxing Home in GREAT Location

Fit our needs to a tee! We did not need 3 bedrooms but wanted a location in University Place. We enjoyed it more than expected; loved the trees and deck, the proximity to stores, and the comfortable home. We visit family in another part of Tacoma often so had visited Chambers Bay, including the very popular Playground by the Sound with our grandchildren. There is so much more to the Chambers Creek Regional Park (including an events venue that is used for weddings). The historical information about the golf course in Chris and Ryan's house intrigued us so we explored it more, took several walks there, and enjoyed watching some very good golfers play a few holes. Our lunch at Chambers Bay Grill was excellent and view awesome. As mentioned in the description, there is a steep driveway but we did not find this a problem. You can either drive in or park on street and take stairs down. We drove down to unload/load our luggage and used the stairs when coming and going. We did hear the lower occupants on a few occasions but it was mid-day, barely audible, and did not interfere with our stay at all. Ryan and Chris are excellent hosts. We look forward to staying here again!
