Enjoy the tranquility of a private getaway. Sunset Nook Cottage is nestled nicely on a beautiful, level lot with over 300 ft. of waterfront on a secluded bay. In the morning, enjoy your coffee on the sunny front porch, or walk to the coffee shop in town. Drop a line in the water from the dock or from one of two kayaks available, for the early morning catch. Choose from one of three award-winning golf courses for your 'hole in one', while your wife enjoys the local Spa. Don't waste a minute of your lake time, throw your clubs in the boat and motor to your golf course! Afterwards, Waterski back to your cottage. Start up your grill for 'catch' from the day, and relax with an ice cold beverage on your private patio. Or take a picnic to the beach. But first, soothe your muscles in your jetted tub. After dinner, take the family to the park or a bike ride. Relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery, an abundance of water-loving birds, outstanding fishing and breathtaking sunsets. That is just Day One! Couples, family, friends getaway!

The sunsets are still spectacular in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. The fireplace is toasty, the furnishings are warm and welcoming. Perfect for a weekend or week long getaway. The view from the cottage is so amazing, you can experience the outdoors from the comfort of the cottage. Spend Christmas at the cottage, Ring in the New Year, Valentines Day Surprise, Anniversary Celebration, Women's getaway. Take in the fabulous color changes in the trees, the snow glistening off the lake, snowmobile, cross-country ski, snow shoe, and fish year round. Be there for the first melt of the Spring, when the birds once again begin to sing and the buds are forming on the trees. Witness the awakening of the new season.

Sunset Nook Cottage is meticulously maintained year-round home. The cottage is a private stand-alone condo home in a small association. It is private and beautifully furnished with all the comforts of home. Not only are you able to see the lake from all but one room, it also is only 25 feet from the water. Excellent for the novice to serious Golfer, Romantic Escape, Family Retreat, Girl's Getaway, Individual getaway for all including Writers and Audubon seekers, Fishing buddies, snowmobile fun, ice skating and cross country fun!

Wonderful cottage

We found the cottage to be even more beautiful than expected. When I first walked through the door, I was so overwhelmed that it brought tears to my eyes. Faith has thought of everything and their was nothing we lacked during our stay. We enjoyed looking out at the waterfowl on the beautiful lake from the dining room table when we got up in the morning and watched the beautiful sunsets each night. Having a canoe to paddle around in was wonderful as well. We felt so relaxed at the end of our stay that we felt a bit sad to leave and return to the grind of work. This has to have been one of our best vacations ever.

Cute little place

Fireplace was excellent and bed in the main bedroom very comfortable. Very small washer and dryer, as well as a very small water heater. Could only fill the jacuzzi bathtub halfway because the water got cold. Kitchen was nice and even had a sconce baking kit all ready to make. It's great for 2 people, maybe 4, but that would be pushing it. Parking isn't great and only way to get out is driving backwards for about half a block. It's quite small, but a cute little place.

Comfy

We just returned from our wonderful week vacation. We took our 7 year old daughter who was beyond excited to sleep in that bunk bed and our (terrible) two year old son. We went to the big shady park that is a super duper short hop skip and jump away every morning. We enjoyed the lake in the afternoon and even Wisconsin Dells one day. The house was so clean and comfortable. Faith has thought of everything! All of the comforts of home are an understatement. It did not feel like a rental cottage at all but more like a friend's house. We definitely hope to return!

The cottage was well stocked and the little welcome basket was a nice touch. Faith did a great job communicating with us even though she was time zones away. The location was great as we could walk to town and the boat launch was 1/2 block away. We could see our jetski parked there from the driveway. We didn’t use the pier because we didn’t want to suck up any of the grasses into our engine. You do have to drive under a bridge to get to the main part of the lake which could be tricky if the water was high. We had to duck our heads while on the jetski. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back in the future.

We spent a lovely week at Sunset Nook lounging, fishing, shopping, and traveling locally. We rented a boat one day and also saw the Dr. Evermor sculpture park and root beer museum in the Dells.

Staying in Green Lake for EAA

The cottage was just as described - very clean and ready to go. The only drawback (which I knew could be an issue when I booked) was the cottage only have one bathroom. We were tired of juggling one bathroom pretty quickly. It was stand alone (not attached to a bedroom) as well. Other than this we would definitely consider this property again. I was caught off guard by the last minute rental agreement - it was a pain to try and access as this rental was in the middle of our vacation and I was already away from reliable internet access. This could have been avoided if the documents were provided much earlier. Other than this hiccup the owner was very responsive.

Great summer stay for our small family!

Great property! No issues, very clean, great location, simple check-in, and easy checkout! We enjoyed watching the ducks come and go from the backyard, and the park next door was a big hit with our son. We hope to be back soon!!

Wonderful location and accommodation

We spent several days at the Sunset Nook Cottage, our second stay in as many years. It is quiet, well-maintained and has all one would need for a short respite. A major advantage is that the village of Green Lake is within walking distance, including shops, restaurants, and other interesting things.

Short trip to Green Lake

The property inside is great and feels like home. Faith is one of the best VBRO host I have stayed at. Everything you need, well stocked kitchen, games, nice towels, and well appointed furnishings. The location was great and can walk into town. Unfortunately we picked the rainiest weekend to visit the area and only took advantage of being on the water a short time so if you have rainy days this a great spot to stay in for all the games and comforts of home.

A Slice of Heaven on Green Lake

The charming lake front cottage had everything we needed and more. Comfy beds, well stocked, clean. But the lake front setting was just what I hahoped for. Perfect place for early morning coffee, enjoying the quiet and watching the fish jump.

Relaxing Green Lake Stay

The property was set up with nearly everything you would need. A fully stocked kitchen with more dishes and cookware we have ever seen in a rental unit. Basic cooking essentials like spices and oils. The open concept was great. Back porch was great for sitting and watching the sunset and just relaxing overlooking the bay.

Nice small house

My friends and I had a great time. Even though the place is surrounded by other properties, the back yard allows some privacy. The house was clean and contained everything we needed. The requirements for check out were easy.

Beautiful spot, awesome accommodations. High end soaps etc. We had everything we needed. A hose in the back yard would be excellent to spray off after Kayaking. Close to “down town”. Loved it !

Relaxing Retreat

We absolutely loved staying at this property. The owner has gone above and beyond expectations of cleanliness. There are many supplies to sanitize from hand sanitizer to disinfectant wipes. Everything is spotless. The cottage is well equipped. The views from the living areas and master bath are spectacular. It’s so peaceful sitting on the porch any time of day and gazing out at the lake. There are plenty of waterfowl for bird lovers to enjoy. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.
