Overall, we had a good stay. The house is beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and located in a very nice area. There are plenty of sleeping spaces, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. We also appreciated having towels, shampoo, soap, and conditioner available.The outdoor area and pool are great for relaxing, and the game room in the basement was a nice space to enjoy with the family, although it was a little warm.There are a few areas that could improve, mainly cleaning and maintenance. We found some dirty towels, a few walls and items that needed more attention, and the pool water and edges were not very clean when we arrived. We had to clean the pool before using it. The lawn was also cut during our stay without notice, and grass ended up in the pool. In addition, the trash bins were already full when we arrived, leaving little space for our trash.Despite these inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay. The host was responsive, and with a little more attention to cleaning and maintenance, this could be an even better experience. We would consider staying again.

There was an issue with the temperature regulation. When we arrived the house was 52 degrees. Someone arrived to help and fix the issue but it remained cold on the first floor. The maximum temperature was 65 degrees but the upstairs was extremely hot close to 78 to 80 degrees. Being from Florida, the temperature in the main living area being so cold made it difficult to relax. The owner offered to bring over fire wood, which we happily welcomed but it was never brought over. The fence on the side of the back yard blew over and was hanging on. Overall, not a great experience. The bedrooms were spacious and had comfortable beds but the main living area needed heat and there wasn’t a good lay out for our family to be together all in one room. There were only enough seats in the living room for 5 people and we rented to house to have all of us together and sitting together was a challenge with the layout and furniture.

The garage and recycling bins were also full, and she quickly arranged for them to be emptied the next day.On our second day, a lawn crew arrived without notice and required everyone to leave the pool area. Unfortunately, this was our first full day and the only nice weather in the forecast. We also had to reposition furniture and clean grass clippings from the pool afterward.The home was surprisingly understocked for a rental of this size and price point. We found very few bath towels, quickly ran out of toilet paper and dish soap, and there were no basic kitchen extras such as plastic wrap, storage bags, or foil. We also couldn't use the fire pit because there was no functioning lighter available. Additional supplies were eventually provided, but only after we contacted the host.Communication around maintenance visits was also inconsistent. We received very little notice before cleaning and pool service visits, and rescheduling requests were never clearly followed up on.A more significant concern was the hot water. Very nice place, was very clean, TV’s everywhere and accommodated my family very well. Plenty of towels, and the basement was a nice surprise will a pool table, foosball and an additional bathroom. Had a slight issue with getting in initially but Lenny got it situated in minutes. Overall great place to stay.
