Jack's Little Log Cabin offers log living in a peaceful wooded country setting 4 miles from Steelville and 12 miles from Cuba or St. James. Come on out, relax and enjoy some rest and restoration on the property or take on some of the many adventures of the nearby area. There are nearby outfitters offering canoes, rafts and kayaks or you can just play on the gravel bar, little over a mile from the cabin. There is adequate parking at the river. Other exciting activities would include sight seeing, hiking, wine tasting, or try the new zip line at Meramec Caverns. Whatever you do during the day, you can plan on coming home to enjoy your barbeque grill, fire pit with wood and of course, your own private hot tub.
The log cabin features a full front porch looking out over the valley, a large rear deck with a lower hot tub level, private bedroom with queen size log bed, private 3/4 bath, kitchenette, and living room with a flat screen TV offering Roku or DVD player with a library of movies. The refrigerator in the kitchenette is a small fridge. If you plan on bringing a lot food and beverages, I recommend bringing a cooler There is an electric fireplace in the living room for ambiance and provides heat for the cold winter months. You can also operate it without heat if your just wanting to enjoy the flames.
