The Skiing Moose, The Skiing Moose

Ski in/ski out condo with immediate access to Granby Ranch skiing, a little known gem perfect for beginners or those looking for shorter lift lines. Or, head 20 minutes down the road to Winter Park for premium skiing. Head to Rocky Mountain National Park (22 miles) for breathtaking views, sledding and probably some large elk herds. Grand Lake (20 miles) and Lake Granby (13 miles) are just minutes away for sailing, paddle boarding and all the water sports. Or hit the local golf course or zip line!

The cozy interior boasts a large gourmet kitchen, vaulted ceilings, mountain views, games, and a fireplace. Upstairs has a private master bedroom (king sized bed) with private bathroom. Main floor has a large bedroom with two queen beds and a bathroom. Three showers are available, as well as a queen pull-out couch.

For the littles: come count how many moose you can find throughout the place or use the sleds in the ski closet for some cheap but amazing fun! Or, for the super littles: enjoy the pack and play.

During the summer, enjoy the outdoor pool and tennis courts.

Very nice property conveniently located to base camp! Had a little trouble with entry code but property manager was very responsive. Property description was accurate but does not mention there are quite a few stairs to access the property. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful, Spacious and Relaxing

This condo is a beautiful retreat in the Granby area. Large and spacious that can accommodate a large family or group of friends. Open space from the kitchen to the living area for socializing. Great WiFi in the condo. We did not have cell phone coverage in this area so the WiFi was very much appreciated. We enjoyed our time at the Skiing Moose.

Toilet upstairs was plugged, carpeting was very dirty. I did not want to lay on the floor, Windows were difficult to open, some did not have turn handles so it was very hot at night. pantry area not clean, It met our needs. Was my first eperience with Vrbo and may be my last. Quite disappointed.

The Skiing Moose - a great stay

We traveled with two sets of teenage twin girls and were excited to find The Skiing Moose only two days before we came - I have no idea how it was still available because it is awesome! It had been a while since we stayed at this specific complex and this condo is a LOVELY one! We know that ski in/ski out here comes with a walk through the stairways of the complex (not our favorite because the decking can be slippery) but it isn't too bad at all. The condo itself was BEAUTIFUL. A large room with two queens for the 4 teens to hang out in with its own bathroom on the main level. The bonus bathroom on the main level was also so perfect for them. It would have been the icing on the cake for that bedroom to have a TV but they made due as we all do with cell phones so it wasn't a huge deal. My hubs and I loved the layout of having our own upstairs bed and bath area. The fact that there is a separation of levels is a huge selling point for multiple couples or families. My favorite part was the large kitchen/living area with VERY high ceilings and fireplace - it made this condo feel especially large. Please note the wifi is not great in this complex so we could not maintain enough signal to watch Netflix. Not a huge deal for us. We cooked two meals here and the owner and management company were very friendly and accommodating. This condo is at the top of our list for sure. I also appreciated that it was slightly more affordable than some of the other condos in the area!
