Renovated 1 bedroom unit in a beautiful historic shotgun double in the desirable Bayou St. John (Faubourg St. John) neighborhood. Enjoy the mix of modern and eclectic decor, gorgeous hardwood floors, high ceilings, and tons of natural light. Stroll around the neighborhood to enjoy some of the best restaurants, bars, & coffee shops. Walk to the Fairgrounds, City Park, the Lafitte Greenway or Bayou St John. The apartment was in a great location for us, as bayou St. John has lots of charm and walkability, the decoration was nice and unique! Kitchen was well stocked with essentials and utensils, washing machine and dishwasher worked fine. We had a plumbing issue during the stay and Wheeler had a plumber come by quite quickly and it was resolved. Overall would recommend!

We enjoyed the spaciousness, cleanliness, and beautiful decor. It is a space that we could stay for a much longer period of time. I enjoyed that if I heard my neighbor outside, I could go outside and visit. I also enjoyed that both my hosts offered their services each time we crossed paths.

Fantastic space with great hosts

This place is great. It’s comfortable, well-furnished, and the hosts go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The apartment is walking distance from Bayou St. John and City Park and several great neighborhood spots. 10/10 - would absolutely stay here again.

Peaceful oasis

This was a perfect location for us. It's a quiet neighborhood, away from the tourists. The home is comfortable with all the amenities we might need and more. Street parking was always available within sight of our front door.

This shotgun was lovely. Very attractive classic shotgun house. The unit is nicely decorated and very clean. It is well-appointed with full kitchen appliances. The hosts provided ground coffee and basic staples. It is located in a pleasant neighborhood. The hosts were unobtrusive but available if needed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your lovely shotgun.
