Welcome to “Tides that Bind” This 6 bedroom, 5 bath home is the perfect getaway located in Surfside Beach. Featuring a fully equipped kitchen making meal preparation easy, ample seating in the living room area, and TVs in each room to enjoy all the local channels. Spend your hot summer days enjoying the private fenced pool area with a furnished poolside patio, or your chilly evenings in the hot tub located in a private area underneath the home. The home offers parking for 4 vehicles, motorcycles and trailers are permitted. Please see our Pet Policy that applies to all Pet-friendly homes, which is strictly enforced.

First time at Surfside

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great for our 13 person extended family. Close to the beach and with everything we needed. We could have used another small refrigerator for drinks since my family likes to eat in a lot and we could have used some more pillows. We would definitely stay there again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third year staying there. We loved easy check-in and loved made beds with white washable coverlets. Walk-in everything looked nice but discovered it had not been cleaned very well. The stairs and down the back were very dirty and around the pool looked like it had not been cleaned this year. Appreciated the quick reply to electricity problem with pool and hot tub.

2025 Family Vacation

Overall the property was nice, the house inside was clean, although it could probably use a few updates. Was not aware that the area where the bunk beds are located is not a bedroom, but outside 2 of the other rooms. The pool was very nice, but the patio area of the pool was not kept up, the tables and lounge chairs were not cleaned and the grills were in need of a good cleaning. The cushions on the chairs outside the main bedroom need to be replaced. Access to the beach was great! For us, we have too many people and would need a larger place next vacation!

We appreciate your feedback about the layout and outdoor areas. The bunk bed space is meant to be an extra sleeping area just outside two of the bedrooms, and we’ll work on making that clearer in the listing so future guests know what to expect. As for the grills, we totally understand your concern. Grills aren’t advertised or provided with the property, mainly because of the upkeep and safety issues they can create. The one you saw was likely left behind by a previous guest, and we’ll make sure it’s removed to avoid any confusion going forward. We also appreciate the heads-up about the outdoor cushions and will take a look at replacing those. Thanks again for staying with us, and we hope you find the perfect spot for your next vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house for a family vacation, very close to the beach and convenient to go back to the house quickly from the beach. The house does not have a powder room so to use a bathroom we had to go to our rooms which was a little inconvenient. We had guests come for the day and it would have been nice to have a separate bathroom. The house comes with one garbage bag for the kitchen so make sure you bring your own. Also, the house only had two dish towels. When we arrived, the backyard was not clean. On Day 3 of our stay after a few phone calls and e-mails, the pool was cleaned and the debris was cleaned up from the prior guests. Overall we had a good experience and our needs were addressed.
