Great stay. Convenient location to attractions and things to do, while still being in a remote and gated community. Home was very nice. Would stay again.
Our family surprised my wife with the a stay in Seiverville TN. This. was one of the best family vacations were had and the house exceeded our expectations.
Very nice home and area. We enjoyed the amenities at the home, and enjoyed the pool. The lake is beautiful. The house is located far enough from all of the tourist stuff to feel away from the busyness, but still close to everything you want and need to get to. Will likely stay here again the future.
We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this property! Beautiful gated community, super quiet neighbors, house was very clean and beautifully decorated!! We will definitely stay here again! Check in was a breeze, communicated with owner about trouble with my vrbo account and asked that they email me the info directly…well they did just that and kept in touch through text message immediately throughout the whole stay, even on a holiday weekend.
Loved this home! It had everything needed for our stay. We had a lot of fun in the game room and hot tub. The host was easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!
The pictures don't do it justice. Very open, so much room to move around and have quiet space if you need it. I loved cooking in the well-appointed kitchen and soaking sore muscles in the hot.tub at night.
We absolutely loved the house! They thought of everything. We loved the decor, the welcome tray with teas, coffees and hot chocolate. The house was super clean. Pictures on the site don't do justice to this lovely place. Kids loved theater and game room. Host was very responsive. Checkin was a breeze. We would stay here again if we had a chance.
We had a fantastic stay at this house. It was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our group of 8 adults and 4 kids. The privacy of the property was exceptional, and the owners provided clear and helpful instructions, making our stay even more enjoyable. Thanks for sharing your home with us
Celebrated my 66th birthday with family at a beautiful home and gorgeous setting! The house was very spacious and had just enough entertainment included for our grand kids to stay occupied. We loved the closeness and lots of activities found in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This was a wonderful birthday trip!Forge and Gatlinburg an
We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was clean and had great furnishings. There was a lot of room to spread out and relax. The house is located in a gated community that is quiet and a quick walk to the community pool. The kitchen is the best equipped one that we have ever had in a rental! Check-in and Check-out was easy. The Owners were very responsive to any questions/issues. If we are ever in the area again, we would not hesitate to stay here.

Amazing
What a great place. Lots of room for a large family. Private balconies with a hot tub that would easily fit 4. All appliances worked without a problem and the coffee maker and a large supply of coffee pods was much appreciated. Nothing but a great place to stay with close proximity to all major area attractions.
This was a great house with very responsive owners. We had a group of teen boys and we all had plenty of space to spread out. I wish the fire pit would have been a little easier to access, but it looks like that is being worked on. I would definitely stay here again. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. Lots of towels and comfortable beds. It was easy to get to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Grocery store was near by. Really couldn’t ask for anything more.
Our stay at Sanctuary Shores could not have been any better. From the early communication to check-in and all the way through check out, everything either met or exceeded expectations for us. We brought our boat with us and used the boat slip at the nearby dock. There was also a storage lot where I kept my boat trailer. The walk to the dock isn't bad at all and only takes a few minutes. When we return to Douglas in the future, we will look to book here first. Thank you so much for a great stay!
My family took a much needed vacation so we planned a long weekend at Sanctuary Shores. The booking and check in process was seamless with no issues or delays. What I appreciated most was the responsiveness of the owners when I had a question. It was much appreciatedWhat can I say about Sanctuary Shores. The unit is beautiful. There is plenty of room for our family to spend time together. The bulk of our time was spent in the game room playing cards, pool and watching movies. My grandson particularly liked the hot tub. If you are looking for a great place to rent I would recommend you check out Sanctuary Shores. You won't regret it.
We had terrible traffic getting down there from Michigan! But the cabin made it all go away the second we walked through the door! The view, space & amenities were amazing! The kitchen had everything & I was beyond impressed with just the little extra touches that I’ve never seen at another rental like coffee pods & all the fixings, detergent, first aid kit, grilling supplies to name a few! Oh & extra towels & blankets. I mean they were really so thoughtful! You will not be disappointed & the owners are so nice & give you all the information you need to have a great stay.

Douglas Lake has long been our go to family vacation with the kids, extended family and friends. I can honestly say, no 2 trips have been the same. It truly never gets old, there is so much to do! We love being able to have everyone together under one roof. At the end of every trip to Douglas Lake, we are already wondering just how soon we can come back. We want our guests to come away with that same feeling. We hope to provide a true home away from home for guests to enjoy.
Why they chose this property
Our home has so much to offer. Yes, we love the convenient location but its so much more. Ours is a home where you can truly relax and feel pampered at the same time. We fell in love with the layout. It is perfect for spending time with a group, yet it has enough separate areas that it allows for the down time and personal space we all need from time to time. The amenities that come with being in a lakefront community are a definite plus. We are just 3 houses down from the pool and clubhouse and a short walk to the neighborhood boat dock. A boat slip is available May through September. Yes, the location is a perk. At the end of the day, we hope that spending time in our home with family and friends, makes it a vacation destination in and of itself.
What makes this property unique
Located in a secure gated lakefront community. Easy drive on paved roads, no need for 4 wheel drive to get to house, save that for your off road adventures. Driveway accommates 4 vehicles.
