February 2017 Stay

Great condo. Easy access to slopes. (5 minute walk)Excellent shuttle service in the evenings. I'm sorry I never got in pool/hot tub but it looked inviting and people were using it regularly. Quiet community. Would definitely rent again.

You get what you pay for

Really close to the mountain and quiet area. The condo has what you need, but we have stayed in multiple condos in this same building and this one was by far the most abused. New and updated kitchen and counters but the bed was horrible and the fireplace worked if you sat right in front of it.

Just ok

This property looks much better online than it does in person. I gave it 3 stars due to the location (which was great, a 10 minute walk to the gondola) and the pool. The property itself is old and though it has had some remodeling (newish granite counters), it’s still old. It smells musty like dirty carpet mixed with a slight scent of gas from the pilot light in the fireplace. The windows do nothing to insulate and the unit gets VERY hot in the afternoon, like roasting hot, unless you keep everything shut up tight all day. I stayed here with my husband and daughter and it felt too small for us. We would not stay here again.

Thanks for staying with us and sharing your honest review. Most vacation rentals in Steamboat do not offer air conditioning, and there are only a few weeks every summer when it's hot enough to warrant A/C. Keeping windows closed and curtains pulled during the heat of the day is the best solution to combat the afternoon heat. Once the sun sets behind Emerald mountain, things cool off pretty quickly.
