The place was clean, comfortable, and peaceful—exactly what we were hoping for. Everything worked as expected, and communication was easy and professional. Would definitely stay again.
Had a great stay with our family in July with our kids and their SOs. The house and property are beautiful and the access to the WFC is excellent. Minutes from all the places we frequent, so it couldn’t have been better. Hope to rent again in the future!
Great cabin on the Whitefish chain, easy access to the town of Crosslake. Like many (most?) cabins in the area, not a sandy beach, but there are several good swimming areas nearby you can easily reach by boat, including the inlet area to Island Lake. Shallow off dock, worked fine for a 21` stern drive boat though. Would definitely come again.
Open and Modern home with plenty of room for 3 adult couples. Kitchen well stocked. Plenty of linens. Room at the dock for a 22ft Deck boat. Short distance on water to find a sandbar for swimming and floating. Large dinner table for meals, games, and cards. Evening wildlife visitors.
This VRBO feels new. It has great kitchen gadgets and appliances (including Free K-Cup coffee), great linens, all the paper products you could ever use. Location is close to town and on one of the quieter lakes in the chain. My one and only suggestion would be to add additional window/door coverings(blinds/other) to increase privacy in the VRBO.
Our family of 5 stayed at this lake home. We brought our 19ft recreation boat and used the dock. Everything went exceptionally well. The home was clean and in excellent condition. The property is really close to the town of Cross Lake making small trips into town for essentials was easy. Many restaurants within easy reach also. We enjoyed the Chain of Lakes with our boat. The crystal clear water is second to none. We will rent here again if given the chance.
We had a lovely time at this cabin. One thing we were not expecting was no open space to play yard games. Clearly the yard is intentionally left to be wild, but our two boys 10 & 8 had no space for their yard games. I don’t remember seeing a photo of the yard. Just photos of the fire ring, which we enjoyed, and a photo of the path to the dock.
