About this property

Peaceful Lake Retreat!!

Welcome to peace and privacy on the lake! What makes this great cabin unique for a relaxing getaway is the privacy! There is 200' of sandy lakeshore with 2 canoes and a four person paddle boat that are available for your use. There is a public launch on the lake and you are welcome to bring your boat and use the dock or check with us for the availability of renting a pontoon for the duration of your stay. Nightly rate does not include pontoon. Dock available May - September. In the winter months, we are located directly on the hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails. The entrance to the trails is right across our side yard and there is plenty of room to park your trailer. The private yard is large and level with a bonfire pit next to the lake. Inside, there is a great room with a gas fireplace and cozy seating, a nice size kitchen stocked with all the essentials. There are three bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with a queen bed, and the third with a queen bed and bunk beds for a comfortable night's rest. Also, the 3 season porch gets continual 5 star reviews for its views and comfort. Great restaurants and shopping are just minutes away in Crosslake. If you want more of a city feel, Brainerd is within a half hour drive with great towns like Pequot Lakes and Nisswa along the way! This comfortable cabin makes for a great family or friends getaway any time of the year! Incredible Property, Absolutely Loved It!

We have stayed at numerous VRBO properties in northern MN but this was our favorite one! This is our fifth stay at the lake house. We only brought our personal items and food. Everything else was provided. It was a little cooler this trip so we really enjoyed the fireplace. Our dog loved sitting on the dock just taking in the views. He also loved swimming in the lake. We’ll be back for our sixth stay.

The house, including the kitchen is well furnished with everything you need. Excellent A/C, appliances, and water. Great enclosed and outside patios. The enclosed patio windows and door have full screens.The house property is beautiful, private, and well cared for. Excellent L-shaped dock with bench. 2 canoes plus a paddle boat with life jackets, paddles, etc. are included. Why they chose this property

The peaceful, private setting and comfortable, cozy cabin makes for a truly unique getaway. There is 200' of weed free, private lakeshore. The lake is fairly shallow and the water quality is so clear you can see to the bottom in most areas. There are only 16 other houses on this lake with one end being a nature preserve and there is a public boat launch. Endless activities include fishing, boating waterskiing, swimming, hiking, four wheeling and biking. A 4-person paddleboat, canoe and dock are available for guest use. In the winter this is the perfect spot for that snowmobiling get away with access to hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails right in the side yard!
Crosslake is 5 minutes away and has several excellent restaurants to choose from along with fun shops to visit . Brainerd is less than a 30 minute drive and has a bigger city feel with smaller towns like Pequot Lakes and Nisswa to enjoy along the way. It makes for a fun shopping experience. Crosby is 15 minutes south and is known as "The Antique Capital of the Lakes Area" The 5 mile Cuyuna Lakes State Trail is open to biking and horse back riding enthusists and is within 25 minutes.

What makes this property unique

This property boasts 200' of beautiful, relaxing lakeshore without neighboring docks being right next to you. The large 1.5 acre lot gives the guests plenty of space to move about. In the winter months there is access right next to the property to hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobiles trails. No more having to load and unload sleds. Great ice fishing lake and perfect area for cross country skiing, snow shoeing and skating.
