The cabin was very clean and well appointed. It was perfect for me, spouse, and dog and the area was lovely in the fall. The only surprise was how close the neighboring properties were; however the lake only has about 10 properties so I expect it would still feel quiet even if everyone was there.

Great cabin for our week of snow shoeing the CAMBA trails. Centrally located. Close to the Sawmill Saloon for great food.The cabin was warm, bed and shower were great! Kitchen is well stocked. FYI-Coffee pot is not a Kuerig. Had one question of the Host and she got back to us right away. Will most likely come back next year.

This was the perfect cabin for peaceful getaway. It was spotless and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed. The lake was quiet and the beach was a quick paddle away. We've always loved the Cable Hayward area for the endless recreational opportunities and are so lucky to call it our second home. We're so excited to be able to provide our family and other families the opportunity to access the wonders of the North Woods.

Silverthorn Lake is a unique treasure in its close proximity to all the world class trails (3 miles to OO Trailhead & 9 miles to Birkie Trailhead) and being equidistance to Hayward (10 miles) and Cable (7 miles), while still having quality lake access. If you're looking for quick access to world class trails, spring fed water for swimming and easy access to town amenities, this is your spot!

No one goes on vacation wanting to spend more time in a car. Silverthorn Lake is all about having more time to play and relax!
