Half a block from Fort Greene Park and its Saturday market, half a block from the G and C trains, close many wonderful restaurants on Dekalb Avenue such as Cafe Paulette, Evelina's, Walter's, and Miss Ada, a short walk to Barclays Center, the Brooklyn Academy of Music and many cultural activities and shopping in downtown Brooklyn, but tucked away on the beautiful tree lined block of South Portland Ave in Fort Greene, called "the most picturesque block in New York" by TimeOut Magazine.
