This cozy, rustic, mountain retreat is situated on four secluded acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The cabin has a shaded deck that overlooks a serene pond full of Bream and Bass and it is only a short walk to Robinson River for great Trout fishing. A five minute drive will take you to the trail head of "White Oak Canyon Falls" or ten minutes to "Old Rag Mountain", two of Virginia's most acclaimed hiking trails, complete with water falls and rock scrambling. It is also only fifteen minutes from the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway for lovely drives or numerous other hiking trails. There are several Civil War battle sites within easy driving distance, for those history buffs in your family. The cabin is fully furnished with linens, dishes, microwave, and fireplace, etc. Dialup internet is available for those who just can't unplug. Check with your internet provider for access numbers. If something romantic, peaceful, or adventurous is what you are seeking...you have found it!

Jane & Kevin live on the Gulf Coast but love the mountains. They have family in VA. They get up to the cabin as often as they can!
Why they chose this property
Jane lived in MD for several years and loved to hike in the VA mountains. She moved down to the Gulf Coast in the 90's but the mountains kept calling. She found the cabin and fell in love. Over the years she made improvements to the cabin and has enjoyed sharing it with her guests.
