Note: Fridays are set with a 3 day minimum stay. This northside home has enough space for a family of 5, possibly 6 if you wish to share a full size bed. It has a front porch with small seating area as well as a rear patio with dining table, chairs, and a grill, weather or season permitting. Steps to public transportation which will take you through all the hip Chicago neighborhoods including downtown Chicago. East Albany Park is noted as one of the most diverse neighborhoods in all of the U.S with many cultures represented. Dozens of restaurants are within walking distance starting with amazing Khepri cafe which serves some of the best Chicago roasted coffee. You will also find Persian, Mexican, Japanese, Vietnamese, Brazilian, Salvadorian, Colombian, Chinese, Thai, and even a wonderful Chicago style thin crust Pizza tavern that has 40 beers on tap just to name a few. Great Seas Lollipop chicken is a must try.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place towels on laundry room floor. Cleaner will start the load when she arrives. Remove all personal trash and throw it in the black receptacles located in the alley near train tracks.
Turn everything off before leaving. Please lock any windows that were opened during your stay as well as all doors used to access property.
Load the dishwasher, cleaner will start the machine upon her arrival. TV remotes placed back in trays.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
RULES! Minimum age of 25 required to rent property. Not accepting reservations from guest with no reviews. Guest will be screened by third party co.
This is a shared full time residential dwelling. Please be mindful of noise after 9PM as to not disturb the other residents. Thank you.
Absolutely no parties and NO SMOKING in the property. There is an outdoor back patio and front porch if you wish to smoke. Just use an ashtray. Thanks

After staying in our first hostel my wife and I knew we wanted to provide the same warm welcome with amenities to guest at our home town. We worked 10 long years preparing this property while raising two kids in it. You will be welcomed to our home with a warmth that we ourselves appreciate when we travel using other short term rentals.

Why they chose this property

Soooo many restaurants, and the TRAIN IS SO CLOSE! It truly a pleasure being able to hop on the train platform from behind the house to explore the other neighborhoods on our free time. Most neighborhoods have plenty of restaurants, and theaters that are steps off the train. The proximty to transportation helped entertain us, our guest and mamy future travelers to our home.

Its not a basement! You actually get an above ground 1000 Square foot apartment that feels comfy to rest those tired traveling feet!. Main bedroom has a pillowtop King size bed, with black out curtains in the room. You get that quiet inner Chicago feel when staying with us, with a few parks walking distance to the home for children to play.
