Welcome to the Resting Place, hosted by Simple Life Rentals. This newly constructed in 2024 home is your waterfront retreat on 1.5 wooded acres, nestled right on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan in Sturgeon Bay!

With 2 bedrooms, a third private versatile room for sleeping or lounging, and 2 baths, the Resting Place comfortably sleeps 5 guests, making it ideal for families seeking a tranquil getaway. As you enter on the ground floor, a full flight of stairs leads you to the inviting second-floor living space where panoramic views of the lake await.

Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:
• Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)
• A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
• PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

Home Truths:
The waterfront access on this property is rocky and shallow. It's not the best for swimming. Just minutes away is Door County Land Trust Nature Preserve which has a sandy beach and is great for swimming.
Guests do not have access to garage
The entrance to the home is on the ground level and the living space is located on the upper level.
Gas fireplace is for aesthetics only and is not for guest use.

This home is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, or other rowdy gatherings.
