Great experience. Loved the floor plan of the residence. Location was perfect for us…. everything we liked to do and eat was nearby. The property had the added bonus of a fishing deck into the canal behind the house. Hubby was VERY happy! Hosts were very response to any and all questions. Highly recommend.
The pool was the highlight of our stay, which was warm and inviting. We spent our days exploring various beaches and the nights swimming, fishing off the dock, and relaxing in the covered outdoor area.
This place was amazing! We had two 13 yr old boys who had a blast in the pool. House has everything you would need for cooking, beach etc. Owners let us check out a lil later which was very much appreciated!!! Beds so comfortable! I am a very light sleeper big win box fans in the place! We will definitely stay here again! Very quiet neighborhood as well! So many places close by for food and shopping.
Great location, this house gives you the true florida style of living with the comfort of a home. Loved the indoor/outdoor space, pool and dock on canal. Great living space and pretty much everything you need is provided. Made it a true relaxing vacation for our family with 3 younger kids. My only critiques really were that the house could use more of a detailed clean in-between. Things were still dusty and surfaces not thoroughly cleaned. Chlorine in pool was noticeablely very strong.
We have stayed in many VRBO, for the price of this stay it was worth it but whoever cleans the place needs to do better. Also, when taking a shower in the master a sewer smell was present and that is probably more the city of Port Charlottes issue not home owner.
Drove to Port Charlotte to give my mom the opportunity to see her friend she hadn't seen in years. Port Charlotte was hot with not too much to do, but this property allowed us a very relaxing vacation with the pool and waterway.

This home is close to the beaches and the Port Charlotte Harbor. On Tamiami Trail there are many restaurants, grocery stores, shops, big box stores, even a mall. At neighboring Fishermans Village you can take boat rides and short cruises.
The kids enjoyed the pool. It was a very beautiful layout of the home- with the master suite on the one side of the house and the other two bedrooms on the other side. Kitchen was fully stocked. We also enjoyed the fishing off the dock. Thank you.
Nice home. Convenient to shopping and restaurants.
Great place to stay. Close to Punta Gorda, Englewood, Venice, and beaches. Pool was wonderful. Hosts were great.

We have been married since 1967 and have one special daughter who lights up our lives. We looked up and down the southwest coast of Florida for the perfect locations to spend some of our future vacations and perhaps retirement someday. We have always loved being near the beach. We were property owners on Emerald Isle, North Carolina and loved going there with family and friends for vacation. We also have a vacation home in Sarasota and love to imagine other happy families enjoying the pool and making wonderful vacation memories. We were so inspired that we decided to buy another house in Port Charlotte. This time we were looking for a house on a canal for boating and fishing.
Why they chose this property
It is well known that Port Charlotte is a fast emerging destination for those who are looking for the 'perfect' vacation rental. This community has invested millions in infrastructure to bring tourism and folks who want to live here permanently. The harbor has been developed for ideal fishing, boating and beach experiences. Warm throughout the year, it affords the perfect climate especially during the winter months. We picked this location for all these reasons. Coming from the Midwest we also wanted the rural pleasure of lots of trees and greenery. Port Charlotte has all the restaurants and shops of a large city yet there remains a country feeling as one drives by open spaces not yet developed. Our backyard canal is the perfect way to explore the many waterways whether you fish or simply want to go boating. It is a safe protected entry to the harbor. We also wanted a community that included a cultural environment. Great musical and artistic experiences are available. For the golfers, Port Charlotte has fantastic courses that are affordable. We wanted to be near the major highways such as I-75 that takes you quickly through Florida but far enough away to feel countryside solitude. You will notice that our house is on a road that has many open lots that are wooded and peaceful. We wanted it all and we found it here.
What makes this property unique
Port Charlotte is a place where everyone is from somewhere else. The winter months are wonderful after coming from the cold northern states. The fishing and boating is incredible. Port Charlotte is the perfect place to take day trips and explore southern Florida.
