It is a short drive to multiple golf courses, mountain biking areas, Lake Davis and Quincy California. There are also numerous dining options in Portola and Graeagle . The historic Western Pacific Railroad Museum is a tourist draw in Portola. which is located on the Middle Fork of the American River. There are six golf courses nearby, hundreds of hiking trails and cross country skiing. There is a miniature golf course and a horse back riding stable located in Graeagle, too!
