The condo was everything the listing said it was and more. It was clean, quiet, well furnished and very convenient. It was great to be able to ski in for lunch and then ski back out afterwards. The kitchen was very well equipped. The ski storage was also very nice. Great communication with the owners. Definitely would stay again.

Best vacation rental in Steamboat

This is our 3rd time staying at this location and the only place we want to stay at in Steamboat. We absolutely love it. The condo has everything you need for your stay and the Kaufman’s are quick to respond. This place is a true ski in/ out. For beginners it’s perfect because it’s a green trail that takes you in and out of the condo.

The Kaufman Kondo is AMAZING! We had the best time, we were so comfortable and everything we could possibly need was there. The wood burning insert was an added bonus and the Storm Mountain Shuttle is super convenient. Would definitely make sure to stay there again! Loved the hot tub and pool too. Easy ski-in/ski-out

We had a great stay. Very convenient ski-in/ski-out off the Right-O-Way trail. Nice views of and access to Christie Lift and Gondola. Well stocked kitchen. Everything was immaculate. Easy/flat walk across parking lot to spa facility. Cher was very easy to work with. Hope to come again!

Holiday Ski trip 2023

Everything you need. Ski out very convenient and shuttles available if you dont want to ski back up the small hill. Lots of dishes, pots and pans to cook. Bathrooms very nice. Loved pool and hot tub Only thing needed was firestarters so yiu can get fireplace wood to light.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. We had plenty of fire starters in the container next to the fireplace. They were pine cones dipped in paraffin. They work great and we filled the bin right before you got there with a long lighter. Sorry you didn’t try them; maybe next time.

Loved this property for many reasons! Lots of blankets, pillows, blackout shades and a wood burning fireplace. We have stayed at a lot of VRBOs and this was the best kitchen as far as being stocked that we have seen. We tend to cook a few nights and we had every utensil, spice, pan and serving dish we needed. Just a few things to note, which did not affect our rating:- We stayed from 12/25-12/30/2025 and there wasn’t a lot of snow. Due to this, this was not a ski in and ski out; however, there is a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes which can take you down to the lifts. Byron is an awesome driver! - This property is not in walking distance to what I would call “The Village.” You can take the shuttle down, but I think it stops a little after 5:o PM. The restaurants in the Village said that Uber isn”t super reliable, so my point of noting this is if you don’t have your own vehicle, it may be challenging to go down the hill for dinner- Downtown steamboat is lively and is not too far, maybe 12 minutes (again we had our own car)- We arrived Christmas Day and thought everything would be closed, but were mistaken. Quite a few restaurants and both grocery stores were open as well as where we rented our skis. We rented from Fleischers and they are locally owned and operated versus the chains. Super friendly and they hooked us up on quite a few things. Overall, the hosts were great and we enjoyed our stay. Just adding a few friendly tips that might help others .

There were so many things we loved about this home! The owners are super responsive to any questions. The unit's location in the building is at the end where there is little traffic so it's nice and quite. GREAT ski in / ski out access! The shuttle service is convenient so there's no need to rent a car. Rain showers after a long day of skiing were amazing. Fireplace was super easy and really, really nice. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were nice and comfortable. Probably my favorite VRBO so far! And... this home is MUCH nicer than it appears in the pictures!

Best Family Christmas ever!!!

We loved staying at Cher and Phil's ski in/ski out condo!!! We had the best week leading up to Christmas we could ask for. The kids- age 4, 7, and 9 could ski in and out without too much work. We couldn't have asked for a better location! We LOVED having the wood burning fire place and we relaxed and enjoyed every minute we were together!!! The short distance to the pool and hot tub was also a major win with the kiddos!!! We hope we can continue to come back to this exact condo year after year!!! What an amazing place you have!!! Perfect slope side condo with tons of amenities!

Our family has travelled to several ski destination over the past 10 years and always skeptical when a listing advertises ski-in/out, but this condo truly is ski-in/out. Upon arrival, we had no issues finding parking and remained that way throughout the trip despite it being a busy Holiday week (between Christmas and the New Year). The ski locker was so convenient and easily accessible. We made use of the laundry room (and glad there was a change machine!) I was pleasantly surprised that they also have separate bins for recycling on the 2nd floor. The unit was fully equipped with plenty of linens, towels, cookware, glassware, etc.. Hot water was readily available for showering and dishes. The wood fireplace kept us nice and warm. My husband and I also had to do a bit of work during our stay and the wifi Internet was more than adequate for our business needs. We loved skiing Steamboat!! When we plan on visiting again, we will definitely try to book this unit.

Best ski-in/out location

This is the best ski-in/out location I have ever stayed at! The property is right off the green ski trail which will take you to the bottom (gondola) so you start (and stop) right out of the apartment building door. It is very quiet / away from the ski town and great view of the ski area / mountain. There is also outdoor heated pool and Jacuzzi on the property which is really nice after the full day of skiing.

If you are looking for a true ski in/out look no further. The condo is in an excellent location and has such a beautiful view. Communication with the host was great and she went above and beyond giving us heads up about road closures….which was greatly appreciated. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. We highly recommended this place.

Why they chose this property

We have been going to Steamboat Springs since the early 70's. Storm Meadows Club B is a great location for ski-in/out and views. With the spectacular snow, up-to-date lifts and Gondola, the experience is wonderful.

What makes this property unique

When we stay in our unit, we enjoy the awesome views from the wrap-around balconies. The Spa Facility is across the parking lot with all the amenities. Our condo is furnished with everything you need and has all new beds, so the comfort is 1st class. We vacation often to our condo and wanted to make it a home away from home. I think we have accomplished that.
