Cabin #10 - Our Mountain Cabin | 4 Bed, 3 Bath

When building and naming this extraordinary cabin, we thought it a great opportunity to let you know that we recognize that this mountain and everything about it is a collaboration. We took your thoughts to heart and created a very special cabin with everything you asked for. Picturesque mountain views, with a beautiful deck on which to lounge away the day. Cozy nooks and crannies for reading and knitting. A grand spiral staircase summiting at the master bedroom (the perfect place for bridal pictures) and a steam sauna shower that along with a 4 person hot tub, insists on relaxation and rejuvenation.  3 TVs to watch "The Game" from wherever you are. And 4 bedrooms for all your friends and family. Many guests have already started traditions here, coming back for anniversaries, weddings, holidays and as one of our brides reminded us "of course, the steam shower." We built this cabin for you, and we look forward to sharing the magic of "OUR MOUNTAIN CABIN"

Great Stay

My girlfriends and I come every year for GIRL's weekend. We are NEVER disappointed. We kick off our weekend with lunch at Bearrr Apetit. Fabuous meal. I recommend Lydia Moutain to anyone just getting away!!!

Big Group for Wedding Weekend? This is the place.

Our big group stayed in this cabin for a wedding weekend and this was honestly the perfect place for it. The inside and outside is absolutely stunning, rustic, and private, and the bride and groom even took photos here because of the views.

Fifth stay in this cabin. Love it, needs restocking

We’ve been to this cabin many times and enjoyed it. It has a great layout and gorgeous view. Our latest stay showed some wear and tear. Low stock on plates, glassware, silverware, pans, etc. Other items that could use maintenance work: Steam shower, Towel rack main floor bathroom, Toilet running main floor bathroom, Missing glass panes in kitchen cabinets. Otherwise fabulous stay!

Mountain retreat with sauna

Charming cabin in the woods. We looked forward to cocktail hour on 2nd level deck each evening. Hotdogs and s'mores at fire pit out back was fun. Plenty of space inside on 3 levels. 1st level bath has a steam shower. 2nd level (main level) bath is tub/shower combo and 3rd floor private bath has clawfoot tub (no shower). 3 tv's. WIFI.

Items needing attention

Light over stove was out, yellowjackets under front porch, kitchen needs better stocked (pitcher, mixing bowl, there were only 2 small spoons, rug at front door, refrigerator door needs changed to open on opposite side ). Very nice cabin!!

Cleanliness

While we understand the cabin is in the woods, there were many living insects in the house. There were many spider webs behind beds, in the bathrooms, and across the windows. There was also a live toad in the shower. The keurig side of our coffee pot was broken and we were only provided one day of grounds. The bench on the back deck is broken. Mainly, the cleanliness was the biggest issue we had. It was not cleaned well or recently.

Weekend Wedding

We really enjoyed our stay. The only issue was working the shower downstairs. The water trickled out and it was difficult to get it going. We did not have any internet unless we went to the lodge and phone signal was weak (T-Mobile). I think those who had AT&T had better service. I did not get the checkout email due to this so I didn't know what we were supposed to do for checkout as it was not in the original email when booking. I would suggest including that or putting a check out notice in the cabin's. We did eat at the restaurant and enjoyed sitting outside looking at the mountains. The views were beautiful. The food was good. The pavilion was a great spot to have the wedding reception. The wedding venue was gorgeous with great views.
