Fantastic location for my needs. Great value, too, considering hotel costs. Super bakery practically across the street! Will definitely book this again. Yay!
I liked that there’s a lock on the individual room and it locks automatically. The room had all we really needed, and the location was perfect. It even had coffee and powdered milk which was comforting even though we didn’t use it. The owner answered the phone when needed as well.

Perfect!
Very tiny, as described, but absolutely perfect for what I needed! Very clean, great communication, and super comfortable. Easy parking, and walking distance from everything I needed. I will definitely keep it in mind if I’m in the area again.
Great location and good communication with host! Perfect for our concert night in Orlando

In a great part of downtown and very convenient. We had privacy and didn't need any adjustment or fixes during our stay. Good for the price if you're looking for a quick stay with a duo or solo traveler

Just What I Needed
If you are looking for a crash pad for your stay, this is perfect. Great location and you are not paying for frills you don't need or will never use.
Came to town for a concert and just wanted a private bed and shower and this is exactly that! Clean, safe. We enjoyed using the porch too! Slept great, shower had plenty of hot water. Couldn’t ask for more
This small unit is extremely convenient and reasonably priced for downtown. One review notes it being very small, but that is very clear from the description. Parking is an added plus. So why only 3* ?There is a stained glass window high in the wall, and light from the adjacent building / parking garage let light into the room all night. If you are sensitive to light while trying to sleep, bring a sleep mask. More problematic is the 'window' a/c unit mounted in the wall 3 feet above the head of the bed. It is VERY noisy, and while I sleep with a white/brown noise machine normally, the "on - off" cycling interfered with sleep. Due to the proximity to the bed, it is very loud. The second night I tried turning it off - but an hour later I woke up with humidity in the room making me sweat (and this was wintertime), so I had to turn it back on.Upon raising these concerns (and a couple of others I won't address) with "Downtown Travel" (I assume they manage the unit) one response was something to the effect that this is a 'downtown crash pad' at a cheap price, what did you expect? I expected something a bit more conducive to sleep, not looking for anything special just a good night of sleep.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for highlighting the unit’s downtown location, value, and parking.
For clarity, no concerns were reported during check-in or at any point during the stay. All feedback was raised only after checkout, at which time we promptly responded. We always encourage guests to reach out immediately if anything impacts their comfort, as we are happy to assist in real time whenever possible.
We would also like to clarify a few factual points for future guests. The stained-glass window referenced is not a clear exterior window and does not allow direct light into the sleeping area. The home has central heating and air conditioning throughout the building, which was in use during the winter stay; the wall-mounted AC unit is supplemental, optional, and its placement is clearly shown in the listing photos.
Sleep comfort can be subjective, and sensitivities to light or sound vary by individual. In over seven years of hosting, these specific concerns have not been raised previously. As clearly described in the listing, this is a compact, urban accommodation designed for guests seeking an affordable downtown “crash pad.”
We appreciate all feedback, as it helps future guests decide whether this space is the right fit for their preferences.

Great Location/not as advertised
The picture on the website is not a true depiction of the unit. Had I been shown the actual unit, I would have picked somewhere else to stay. lightbulbs missing, mold around the base of the shower. 1ply toilet paper, the bed is a queen shoved up against a wall. The bed itself was comfortable, but the bedding was old. I was concerned for our safety, but it was in fact quite safe. not at all what I was expecting. I would not recommend this unit, or renter. I feel as if I was deceived.

I’m sorry you felt this way however you didn’t mention any of these issues during your stay and it’s exactly like the pictures in the listing. It says it’s a small unit. The unit has been inspected and none of these issues are there.
The room was clean for the most part. The walls and shower head could use a good cleaning. The AC unit is a little loud when it kicks on, so I turned it off at night with the ceiling fan on high. If you're not a light sleeper it probably won't bother you. Someone mentioned that it's bright in there at night due to a street light outside shining through the stained glass window, but it wasn't bad at all. Lights while I'm sleeping bother me and this wasn't an issue. The only down side was the other renters coming in late at night and being loud. That being said, the room is right next to the front door. I loved this room! It's very cozy. It's a big old house that has been split into what seems to be 3 apartments. It's in the most perfect spot. I walked to get breakfast, then walked to eola park. I really couldn't be happier and will definitely stay there whenever I go to Orlando.
This was what I needed. Close to everything and nice place to stay. Much better then a hotel or motel. Definitely will use this place next time when in town.
