Come relax on the St Johns River , access from a deep water canal . Private boat house for your fishing boat . Bass fishing tournaments, Fun in the sun at Silver Glen Springs and Salt Springs . Crystal Clear water stays 72 degrees all year round . Great fishing on the Ocklawaha river also only a few minutes up the river where they flow together . Bring your golf cart or rent one to ride around the town , Local bar and grills nearby, have live entertainment and great food . Sunsets are amazing here and only one traffic light in the town . You will feel at home away from home here , friendly people and safe atmosphere . Pet Friendly , but you must register pet at time of booking as a guest , there is a additional fee . If you are bring a boat you must also notify us to confirm boat trailer parking and use of the boathouse if necessary.

Welaka Memorial Day Weekend

Our families brought the boats and had a great stay at this property. The house is a nice boat ride to the springs, sandbar, and the waterfront restaurants. We look forward to staying here again!

We highly recommend this VRBO. We enjoyed our 16 night stay. The spacious place has all the amenities for a great stay. The hostess was easy to work with. We brought our bass boat for fishing and touring on St John's lakes, river, creeks, and canals. We enjoyed the covered dock and boat lift. We had great sunny weather except a couple chilly days. On those days, we took the hour drive to St Augustine and up to Jacksonville for sightseeing. I brought my bike to ride around the quiet town of Welaka. Golf carts are used on side streets. There are a couple of restaurant options in town. We also boated to a couple restaurants on the St John's.

Beware

Helicopter host. Expect entering the property without notification. Expect constant calls/ messages of opinions of how to use the property. Uses excuses and miscommunication to push you from the property so to keep payment with no intent of refund.

you smoked Marijuanna in my house and your construction crew smoked cigarettes in the bedroom and threw them in the yard also . I asked not to do that several times and they would not obey the rules . That is why your crew was not allowed to stay .
