The studio was very convenient to the YNP entrance and to the main street of Gardiner, but on a peaceful hillside street with a view of the opposing hills. Nice local artwork, comfy bed. We enjoyed our stay.
Was exactly as listed. Great location. Walking distance to the park. My husband and I enjoyed our short but sweet stay. We really enjoyed that it was pet friendly! Major plus! Only possible thing we could say that is negative is that the bed is not very comfortable but for one night it was fine. We would definitely recommend
The property was very cute, the town nearby had great food and atmosphere. The room was very clean and comfortable. I loved that they provide a dog bowl, but there was no area outside for my dog to relieve herself. But overall a very nice stay
Great location for North entrance to Yellowstone. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and outdoor adventures. Hosts were friendly and welcoming with knowledgeable suggestions on where to dine and what to see in Yellowstone. Host is a guide and photographer with many of his photos on the walls of the suite. Well thought out amenities. Nice little outdoor space for coffee in the morning. Definitely a nice place to stay.

The studio itself is very good, but the surrounding area was rather rundown.
I booked this place 9 or 10 months in advance. Because of the way it was listed, I thought it was more of a small apartment. So I brought a cooler with some food to cook. When we got there I had to repull pictures up and realized there was no stove to cook on. So we ended up eating out which added $$$ to our trip. I think the post should just list large room instead of studio apartment. Other than that the room was cute and clean. We really enjoyed the town of Gardiner. The room is really close to Yellowstone. One of the nights we had elk that walked by the room.
We were there 2 nights. It's EXACTLY as listed. It is unbelievably convenient to the best parts of Yellowstone - perfect. It is perfect size to drop stuff and go out to the park, but be comfortable still.Very close to dinner/breakfast options and had kuerig stocked, microwave, mini fridge. Actually, that stuff was better than expected. Incredibly clean. Host even checked on us as we arrived with a big wave. Really nice.Only warning...I showered in the morning and when my partner tried to wash her hair, the water was COLD. One good shower at a time.Sorry, no photo, I stink at taking pictures.
Nice little studio. We arrived after dark so would suggest larger marking to be able see studio number after dark also leave on porch light. Also only had 1 wash cloth for the two of us
The location to the park is great. The area of the studio is in a residential area and outdoor seating wasn't very private. With that said, the room was perfectly decorated and the amenities are great. The only suggestion i would give is to replace the coffee maker. It was hard to use and leaks. Please dont think we didn't enjoy our stay. We enjoyed the room and our stay. The bathroom was large, the seating area is nice and the bed was comfortable (if you like a soft mattress). We would definitely stay here again.
Myself and my daughter spent a week in Jackson Hole hiking Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. We wanted to do a hike in Mammoth Springs and thought it would be best to stay overnight close by since it was a 3.5 hour drive from where we were staying. Gardiner View Studio was exactly as shown online. It was clean and close to town. Our only regret is coming so late in the season because a lot of the shops in town were closed but the owner had a helpful guide in the room. We will definitely be back a little earlier in the season. I highly recommend.
Very convenient and close to everything in town including the entrance to the park. Clean and simple. It didn’t seem like they had any streaming services on the TV you could access without having an account. I tried to download YouTube TV and it wouldn’t let me. So maybe bring an HDMI cord so you can hook up a computer or something.
I’ll definitely be staying again, Gardiner is a great little town. Host response time was almost immediate and she answered any and all questions I had. Check out bears brew for coffee and breakfast!!
Accommodating hosts, Great location, Minor discomforts
Various pros and cons that made this an average stay Pros:1.) Accommodating and gracious hosts - very responsive and attentive hosts. allowed us to check-in early by 2 hours and check out late by 30 min. Stopped by to ensure we had enough coffee pods. 2.) Great location - walking distance to Gardiner which is right outside the North Yellowstone Entrance 3.) Wifi - better wifi than anywhere in Yellowstone Park Cons: 1.) Uncomfortable Mattress - mattress was a spring coil mattress that was fairly uncomfortable. simple and got the job done but woke up with sore back 2.) No screen for front door - poor airflow through the unit despite ceiling fan and AC unit. Front sliding door had no screen so was unable to open door for airflow. no fan in bathroom. 3.) Smelly shower curtain - may just need to be cleaned but shower curtain smelled like your uncle’s unwashed basketball shirt when first using shower4.) Limited hot water - Recommend limit showers to less than 7 min otherwise shower turns cold. hot water for shower refills but would avoid back to back showers as that will also result in a cold shower at the end. 5.) Initial parking/ finding location - the VRBO is in a detached garage in front of house with its own separate entry. There is a small (very small) sign in front of a yellow and black parking bumper that designates where to park. Numbering on the actual house is small and you may miss the property the first time you drive up
