We absolutely loved this home! It's a good sized house yet cozy at the same time. It was a joy to return there each day after being out and about. I highly recommend staying there?
Easy check-in and the place was very clean. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. The patio out back was so delightful to sit and have happy hour!

A perfect place to stay! So nice & cozy. Short walking distance to beach/water view. The host, Kelly, was top notch. Very pleasant & responsive to questions during our stay!
The house was cute and very clean. The description on Vrbo was correct. The house is very close to the park with a pavilion. The small beach was very clean. I would stay in this house when I would have more time to enjoy the stay.
This property has so much potential. Very cute and cozy. Unfortunately we had troubles with the wifi and no air-conditioning (window units were not installed before summer season). Mgmt was responsive, but unable to remedy during our stay.
Our stay was lovely! This wonderfully renovated home was perfectly maintained; tastefully decorated; meticulously clean/organized; generously stocked; and with comfy and beautiful bed/linens; and lovely art throughout! The home is in a delightful and friendly, walkable neighborhood close to a beautiful park, the waterfront, and downtown Sturgeon Bay with its wonderful shops, restaurants, and the maritime museum.
Returning to Sturgeon Bay (having lived there in the past), this location was the perfect jumping-off spot for us to visit our favorite people, galleries, and places throughout this amazing county. And although our visit was short, we made time to hike at the incredible Door Bluff Headlands County Park; and to enjoy watching the iconic Washington Island Ferry at Northport Pier, and wade with our dog at the nearby beach.
We look forward to a future Door County visit and will absolutely hope to stay again at the wonderful Pinecone Haven.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Pleasant but not perfect
We liked the location however there are a few things for the price that should have been taken care of. The ceiling fan in the second bedroom only works on low setting and it was hot a few days while we were there, there are two window air conditioning units and the one in the kitchen smells moldy when you turn it on so we didn't use that. There were no barbecue utensils to be found, there is not a dishwasher in the house so all dishes had to be rewashed before we use them and sponges left at the sink for our use were not clean. I assume the cleaning staff used them but I did not feel safe using them. The house is very old so the floor is wavy and slants down towards the back where the addition is for the dining room table. You also have to go down rickety stairs through a garage to get to the backyard. The beds are comfortable but for the cost the other things were not satisfactory. On another note we got our deposit back but they charged us tax and we did not get that refunded? I sent a message to the property manager have not heard back. Did not hear back from the property manager when we asked about shortening our stay one day, other times there was a response so when they don't want to answer your question I guess you don't get a response.
