We had a beautiful week at the cottage - the place was perfect for our family of 3, with space to spare. The views were outstanding and the location can’t be beat. We hope to return again!

This cottage is very special. My family has been coming to the Cape for over 50 years and it’s becoming harder and harder to find a truly authentic Cape Cod cottage. So many are being updated to look like stark white, sterile, and devoid of character suburban homes. Not so in this case. This cottage preserves all of the character and charm of this historic home. We felt privileged to now be a part of its history! And the setting is absolute perfection. A fantastic deck with comfortable lounge chairs and a gorgeous view of the bay. A perfectly situated outdoor shower. Private access to the beach. A short walk to nature trails along a marsh. Plus all the amenities you need to have a comfortable getaway. So peaceful and beautiful! We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Great Little Beachfront Cottage

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been renting this cottage for about 10 years. The location cannot be beat! The beach is great for swimming and walking. The deck is our favorite spot to eat and the views are gorgeous. The interior of the cottage is clean and cozy. You could easily spend your entire stay right here, but if you want to explore, there are many activities nearby. We enjoy restaurants in downtown Wellfleet, as well as heading over to the ocean side in the late afternoon. P-town is also a great place for restaurants, shopping, and nature activities and is about 25 minutes away.

Beautiful views of the bay

This is a lovely cottage right on the bay. Just walk down the stairs to enjoy the sandy beach and views of Great Island. We've been coming to the Cape for decades and would stay here again. This is a cozy cottage with great views. It was clean with plenty of light. The beds in the "kids" room looked great for young children but might be a bit cramped for teenagers or adults. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc. There is a lovely tide clock so we could easily see it the tide was coming in or going out and about how long it was until the next tide change. The only "complaint" is that the ticking of the clocks in the living room was a bit loud when sitting quietly reading.

Location and View Triumph over Size

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Positives: spectacular sunset view, close as possible to the water's edge, very well stocked kitchen, sweet outdoor shower. Fantastic location for Wellfleet et al. Caveat emptors: this is really tiny. Terrific for a couple who really like each other...the main bedroom fits a bed, dressers, that's it. 2nd bedroom squeezes in two twins...But truly, the reason to be here are the Positives, which are better than advertised. Just manage your expectations appropriately. We are so so glad we stayed here.

The house is small but comfortable for a couple. Kitchen well equipped (but no dishwasher). Views and location are superb - as advertised. Very happy with our stay. However, we spent an hour late at night trying to find the house. Very frustrating. It turns out street it's on turns into a footpath. The house is beyond the footpath and The only way to get to it is by going down a different street. This should be made much clearer! The checkin instructions specify code for a lockbox. We looked for it in the dark but there is none. It turns out that the code is for a coded lock that is part of the door. It would be good to have directions and instructions written from the point of view of someone who has never been there, and possibly include photograph or map of the confusing parts.

Great View

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great little rental. Kitchen was well equipped but gave very little space for food storage. The twin beds left something to be desired interims of comfort. However, the location and access to the beach could not be better.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Can not find a better small place. Small. So just be aware, it's a tiny 2 bed with a futon in the main room in addition. Otherwise it's all there. A beach front yard, sunset facing view, all the modern immensities. Charming. They need to tone down the wind chimes. Otherwise this place is a 10 out of 10

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have rented this cottage for several years and couldn't find a better location to kayak all over the harbor. Recently I have discovered the trails in Wellfleet Conservation Trust located on Indian Neck which make for marvelous walking when the tide is high and access to the bay beaches is limited. It is the perfect spot for my family.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a week with good friends at this cottage. This area is quiet and remote yet just a few minute drive to town. We spent a lot of time in the deck as those views are unsurpassed! The outdoor shower is perfect. The kitchen was well stocked. It’s a small cottage but was perfect for four of us! The only downside was the WiFi was weak so anyone relying on it would have a hard time if it’s not addressed. We would definitely return!
