That deck looking out on the bay is the nicest place to sip some coffee and not think about work. Simplicity but comfort. And air conditioners when you brain is sun baked.. Wonderful.
This is a great little cabin. Omaha beach right out front was perfect. Wellfleet is a smaller more quiet town compared to some others up and down the Cape.
Very nicely updated cozy cottage overlooking the bay. A really nice place to bob in the bay when it’s warm and sit and read when it rains (we had a couple rainy days but still had fun!).
Spectacular location right on the beach at Indian Neck. Great for low tide beach walks, birdwatching, and sunsets. Cottage is equipped with everything you need, and has entirely new furnishings throughout.
Great place to stay! Surrounded by a group of cottages with friendly people and families looking to relax and enjoy the beach at the doorsteps. No need to explore beyond the front door and the beach right in front of you. We loved the cabin updates and never felt like we had to get in the car and find fun elsewhere!
The setting and views of the bay could not be better. It was hard to leave the front sitting area! Cottage was clean an really nicely decorated and equipped.
This cottage is all about its location! It's a two minute walk from a beautiful beach. We enjoyed the view of the water from the cottage all week long. We're a family of four and it was the perfect size. We loved Wellfleet with its access to the CCRT and the National Seashore (Marconi).
My husband and I have come here 4 times in the past 6 years. There have been many improvements! The new furniture and updated Kitchen is a big plus. The 3 AC units are a must on some days. To me, the view and proximity of the bay is amazing. It’s beautiful all the time and having two big picture windows to look out at even on a rainy day is interesting.
My family (myself, husband, 2 year old son and 1 year old son) recently stayed at the cottage and loved every minute of it. The cottage was the perfect size for our family and very well appointed. We loved the location - very secluded and picturesque. The location was absolutely amazing for small toddlers. It was just steps to a very lovely bayside beach with a large sand bar - perfect for them to run around collecting rocks and shells and building sandcastles. We can’t wait to come back!
Great property and comfortable seating in living room . Views and walk to beach are top notch . Kitchenware ( dishes etc) needs inventory , winnowing and some replacement. We enjoyed many walks . Bed was comfy , outdoor shower had great power . Beautiful sunny spot !
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. We wish we could have stayed there longer! The cottage was very comfortable, we wanted for nothing. The location was fabulous, and we spent many hours enjoying watching the change of tides and walking the beach. Michael was a wonderful host, very responsive to our questions and offered some great restaurant recommendations. We would love to return to this special place sometime in the not-too-distant future.
Nicely renovated cottage in gorgeous location. The views are spectacular. Love b not able to walk to the beach. There are window AC units both bedrooms, but none in living area so it can get a bit hot and stuffy + unit in room with twin beds is extraordinarily loud and should be replaced. Owner might want to consider installing wall mounted unit in living room to cool entire unit.
This week was amazing. We've been coming to Wellfleet every year for the last few years. This is my favorite location so far! The beach out front is great at any tide. The cottage is quaint and charming. The breeze in the evening is so comfortable, I could sit outside on the porch all night. The drive to town is super fast and easy. Same with the drives to any of the ocean side beaches. Make sure you get a beach sticker from the town of Wellfleet. Newcomb Hollow is way better than Marconi. All in all, this location is perfect to enjoy all that Wellfleet has to offer.
I’d like to preface this review by saying I only give 5 stars if everything is exceptional. When we go to the beach, we want to be right there & this location does not disappoint-it’s a peaceful respite and great place to visit outer cape. I felt the cleanliness could have been better (some spider webs & coffee maker/microwave could use a good cleaning). It was unusual there are no linens at this rental but that’s owner discretion & stated clearly. Overall, the owner is very responsive and accommodating. I would recommend this simple, cute cottage by the beach; we enjoyed watching the sunset, peaceful walks, and the super location. Thank you!

Caveat Emptor
Our experience at an attractive, comfortable cottage with a magnificent view was spoiled by, what I believe was, an insufficient alert that no linens or towels were provided. Instead of being prominently displayed in the the main section, it was buried under a subsection called laundry. I’ve stayed in many Cape rentals over the years and always had linens included.
Our group arrived in two cars after a long drive in the heavy rain, culminating in a heavily rutted road and difficult parking situation for two cars, to find no sheets, towels and only one substantial blanket. It was too late in the day to be able to rent or buy them. If I had noticed that no linens or towels were included in a 3 day rental that came to almost $2000 (past prime season) I would have certainly passed it up.
We love this cottage -- this is our third year there. The view from the concrete patio at the back of the house is awesome. There seem to be some changes since the new owner took over this year. There used to be a wooden coffee table in front of the couch, which was great for working on jigsaw puzzles when the weather was bad, now instead there is an upholstered coffee table. My other very minor criticism is that it was hard to find usuable pots to use when cooking. There are a bunch of very old teflon pots in the cabinet that are flaking teflon. Didn't dare use them, but ultimately found a couple we could use. Also, the one stainlesss steel frying pan in the cabinet was caked with old scambled egg residue. I realize that was probably from the last tenants, but maybe if the owner got rid of all the ancient teflon pots, it would be easier for the cleaning staff to check on what the last tenants left. But that's just minor nitpicking, this cottage is abolutely great
Location of the house was great, overlooking the bayside. If it were a summer rental, the location would have been ideal location to walk out to the bay. Although we rented off-season, it was still scenic. The house was recently updated and enough room for 4 adults.
