We loved our recent stay here! The uniqueness of this town screamed to me and boy am I glad it did. A short drive to the sights and absolutely charming on its own. We visited gorgeous Amalfi beach towns, swam & sunbathed, took a bus up to Ravello, rode a ferry along the coast from Salerno, saw the ruins of Paestum and Pompeii, then returning to the comfortable, clean and tasteful home Joe has created. The owner's friend was a wonderful help to us getting to the grocery store, mozzerella factory and we enjoyed some yummy desserts from his favorite bakery too. His mom, Rita, well, she's a keeper! She instantly felt like family. What a lovely woman! Unexpected kindnesses that really make you feel at home. Hike the mountain, visit the monastery and make sure you get up to the wonderful restaurants above like the beautiful Maximum. This is a quiet, beautiful mountainside retreat with a terrace where you can almost reach out and touch the green mountain. I can't say enough and would not hesitate to return.
