The views from Deering Crest property managed by SkyRun have the best views! - the whole continental divide. Breathtaking - We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay.
This is one of the older homes we haves stayed at in this area, but it is also the most budget friendly we have stayed at. While it is an older home the home itself is in well repair. We had no issues during our week stay. Was just the correct size for our family.

Thank you for your review. Glad this home was the right size for your family. It has one of the best views in Estes Park. SkyRun Rocky Mountain would love to host you again.
Hard to imagine a better view and the deck(s) provide ample opportunity to soak it all in. Indoor space is functional and in very good shape. Lots of furniture for the space available so its a bit crowded and the decor is a bit dated but that really didn't matter for us. It was a perfect place for four adults, a preschooler, and a toddler.

Estes Park
The pics provided does not do the views any justice! It was clean and well maintained. There are lots of stairs but we'll worth it! I would recommend this place to anyone! One small complaint is the master bedroom door to the outside needs the shutters replaced or fixed to ensure full privacy as the current shutters are broken and can only cover so much of the window in that door. Not a big deal.

Thank you for the feedback we will get our maintenance team out there to get those shutters fixed. Thank you - and yes - the VIEWS!!!! OMG _ you can see the whole continental divide from there it's breathtaking. We are so pleased you enjoyed one of our many SkyRun RMNP properties in Estes Park.
The rental was very spacious with great views of the mountains. Everything was clean and well stocked. (towels for the shower, shampoo, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap..etc.) I would rent this property again.

We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. SkyRun Estes Park would love to host you again.
This property was perfectly adequate but didn’t really fit our needs. The drive up to the condo would have been worth it if you could sit outside and enjoy the mountain air, but since this wasn’t possible (decks closed, noted in listing), the drive wasn’t really worth it. It would have been easier to stay closer to Estes Park or RMNP entrance.
The property was very clean, but very, very dated. There was too much furniture making it cramped. And the furniture wasn’t really very comfortable. Again this would not have mattered if we would have been able to use outdoor space. There is a very old and breaking down picnic table in the parking area but this was not relaxing.
Check in and check out was easy. And view from the living room window was great.

Nice property. Good beds and clean. Somewhat dated and disappointed that there was no access to the deck and no scheduled repair. That would make it an excellent rental.

Beautiful View - Fix Your Deck
The deck needs some 2 by 4s and 1 by 1s and a little paint. It would take a couple hours. Geez. Great view.

The listing states that the deck is not usable although, I understand you are disappointed .However, to make it safe it will take more than some 2 by 4s and a little paint.
We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, we had a death in the family and had to adjust the dates of our stay, but Windcliff Estates was very accommodating. We appreciated that so much. I can't wait for those decks to be fixed. It will really add value to the proper and enhance the experience. If you like stairs, I recommend staying here. ;) This place has everything you need -- and more -- for entertaining and an extended stay.

Magnificent views from a spectacular home
We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay in this home high on a ridge south of Estes Park. The unobstructed view of snow capped peaks from the front widow and a similar view from the large hot tub in the master bedroom were simply spectacular. While there were only two of us there for a romantic getaway, the home has three on-suite bedrooms and easily enough room for a large family or a group of friends. The home has everything needed from dishes, pots and pans, TVs with cable in every bedroom, as well as strong wifi. Highly recommend this rental to anyone considering a mountain getaway.

Very disappointed!!!
I made this reservation back in January for our honeymoon. Upon arriving we discovered that NONE of the balconies were available for use due to repairs being needed. I called the number provided (several times and it rang over and over with no voicemail) and the lady mentioned that they tried to call everyone to inform them of this change in the property. I was never called or informed. The balconies and views were a huge part of why we chose this place for our HONEYMOON. I would have just stayed somewhere else if we could have gotten our money back. In addition to this huge disappointment there were other issues. This house is in desperate need of renovations. We both felt like we were staying at our grandma's house. The grout in the bathrooms needs a good scrubbing with some bleach as well (blech). Also, for some reason every time we touched any light switch or thermostat we were shocked badly. There is only heat at this house which was fine once we figured out how to use it and there were no instructions provided (we are from Texas so the setup was different than we were used to). The only redeeming qualities in our opinion were the location and the view (only through the windows since remember EVERY balcony is out of service).

We are sorry to hear you had a disappointing stay. As you said, while the deck is not accessible the view is amazing from inside the home. I will forward the information regarding the decor, grout and difficulty figuring out the thermostat to the manager. Estes Park has a very dry climate, static builds up when walking on carpeting then discharges when touching objects including other people. Thank you for your review.
We were very happy with our stay at the Town home, Deering Crest. The view was rather incredible.
We experienced zero issues with check in and zero issues with the Town home itself. We were aware of the deck issues beforehand and so we didn't use the deck and we were perfectly fine with that. We were simply happy that there was an available place to stay near the national park and also estes park.
My only complaint that I have was not with the property but with the construction workers a couple of doors down. For some strange reason the workers always blocked -both sides- of the driveway - fully blocked, trapped actually! - and we would have to ask them on a daily basis to move their vehicles (and properly park them) so that we could get in and out of the property.
Really now, out of respect for guests using the property the construction workers need to be more considerate of others access, to and from, the property.
Perhaps SkyRun can have a chat with the owner of the other property and put a halt to it so that other guests won't have to deal with it. What would be really effective is for them to get a parking citation from law enforcement (and, since I'm such a nice guy, I didn't have the police come out to issue them a citation. At the end, we were getting kinda burned out on the parking situation).
Really though, there is plenty - plenty - of room for folks to park and there really isn't any excuse for folks blocking -both sides- of the driveway and trapping the guests or blocking them from accessing the property.
Anyway, I just wanted to share that.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience it caused you during your stay. Please visit us at SkyRun again and definitely let us know of any issues during your stay that we can assist with.
Nearly everything we needed was provided. A quick stop at the store took care of things like coffee and food items. The views of the mountains from every window was amazing. We saw lots of wildlife as well. Unfortunately we were unable to use the decks due to the need for repairs which we assumed was a problem because getting materials right now is difficult. I would recommend staying here. It was very comfortable for all 6 of us.

We're so glad you had such a great stay! It's so enjoyable to see the spectacular views and watch the wildlife! We are hopeful to have the deck repaired in soon.
We enjoyed our stay. The condo had beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains. All amenities provided and spacious for our family of 4. It is a 4-5 minute drive up the mountain to the condo. Location to restaurants, RMNP, and Estes Park was great. Condo is a little dated and could use some updating and renovations, specifically to the deck which is non-functional as it needs repairs. Water was leaking into family room and carpet was wet. We called property manager and they were going to come by and check on it.
Overall, it was a nice place.
